I have just discovered your channel and really enjoy the videos. Your passion and enthusiasm is clear for all to see and I really like your approach to fishing. It is also good t see you striking early as so many TH-cam pike videos see anglers leaving the strike for ages which is only ever going to result in deep hooked fish. Keep up the good work.
Amazing pike! The pre baiting definitely works, I don't have the time to do it but I throw about a dozen chunks in a swim first thing when I arrive and I think it helps to get bites
Great insight Rich, thank you! The pre baiting is the edge for sure, interesting that you use trout…..being a non trout that surprised me tbf. 👍🏼 (I assume it’s a non trout venue) Top camera work and editing, more pike films please 🙏
Great video. I’ve yet to catch a double the closest I have come to is 8lb 6oz. I have just started my first full year of pike fishing. I have caught 5 this season up to now only jacks but I’m doing something right and catching them regularly hopefully a double will be up for it Saturday morning when I go. Tight lines
Great angling there mate some beautiful specimens, do you pop yours up of the bottom of so could you show us your pop up rigs ? Cheers, take care, tight lines 👍🏼
absolutely brilliant Richard .just asking is this a day ticket water or membership only .ive been fishing for pike along time p.b 18.3oz .tips are great and presentation of this great .All the best mate kind regards john .
Whiting as pike bait. I didn’t think it would be good at all, not oily, not well scented. However I went sea fishing, had a couple deep hooked, were legal size so I kept them to try for pike. I’ve caught 3 river pike in two sessions, all on whiting, nothing on mackerel or herring or trout. Maybe worth a go ?
good video...apart from the odd bit of editing on the lil jack at the end of the vid. unhooking it in the net the lamprey is on its left side...and you can see the damaged scissors on the right..then next shot pretending to take the hook out its on the right side where the scissors are damaged/missing. ???
Definitely no pretending going on at all. The damage was already there. I had two other guys watching me as well and they will say the same. Many thanks for watching
Not really mate, it was a very funny bite. And only just hooked. It dropped the bait and then took it again. But I do appreciate your input and passion for pike care. I would never want to hurt one. Cheers
Great session - and what a cracking fish! You could hear the excitement in your voice! Great stuff mate - thanks for sharing.

Also no relentless brand plugging 👍

Amazing trip with awesome pike's. Name of this lake ? Maybe postcode? 🔥
Cheers mate, it’s a Norfolk Cato syndicate lake with no publicity

Maybe worth a go ?
Definitely worth a go mate. They’re a great colour as well 👍
Great video again. What makes you choose whether to fish single treble or double? Is it bait size/choice or range you’re fishing at?
Cheers mate, yes usually size of bait I’m using 👍
Great video mate.........using a single treble, do you do that with other baits or just Lamprey? Have you lost more fish due to it do you think?
Cheers mate, I often do it with small baits. I don’t think I’ve lost anymore being honest
Superb
Nice Croc,,
Cheers buddy
BRILLIANT 👍👍👍
Cheers mate
More nice fish on the bank.
Cheers buddy

How come u guys don't use baitcaster?
Hello! What rod?..
Hi I live in Norfolk, where is this lake?
What braid are you using?
40-50lb Fox carp braid
You seemed along time on the strike after a take
Not really mate, it was a very funny bite. And only just hooked. It dropped the bait and then took it again. But I do appreciate your input and passion for pike care. I would never want to hurt one. Cheers
i hit a 22lb 8oz the other week what a beast it was
Well done buddy
Rainbow Trout
Spoilt for choice of venues in Norfolk
We are lucky to have some lovely venues. Cheers
How often do you recast?
