    Man was I stressing. My LED screen wasn't even coming on and I had a constant running drain pump. I pulled my dw to find water in the pan. Dried up the water with paper towels and test ran it for no leaks. Once cleared my LED screen came back. Your Sir are awesome!! Thank you!!! 🎉

    Thank you Steve. I followed your directions and I dried the water in the pan, turned the breaker back on and the panel lit up. I'm running a cycle now and all seems to be good. Besides your clear directions, I loved your camera person's giggles at the beginning. You two are a great team :)

    You didn't have to spend the time to film this video and help the TH-cam community out....but you did. And you honestly saved me. I assumed there was no leak in my dishwasher because there was no E15 code. So I tried EVERYTHING else except check for a leak! Thank you thank you thank you!

    Way more than “Mediocre”. Way to go! Fixes the problem whether you ever get an error code or not-a totally “dead” dishwasher that keeps trying to drain FIXED! Weird things handled!!!

    Thank you Steve. I got this error. Pulled out the washer and all the hoses look good. I dried out the pan and underneath the foam after disconnecting the sensor. So far so good. Appreciate the help. Seems like drying it out is all I needed. Fingers crossed.

      @@kcstever1 I found my leak on the water inlet, how do I untighten this round hose fitting?

    • @kcstever1
      @kcstever1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chucksw1 The round hose fitting for the water inlet on the back is basically the same thing as the female end of a garden hose. It should loosen by rotating it counter-clockwise. You might need some pliers/channel locks to break it free. Good luck!

      This item was the exact replacement and worked 100%. You must either check the documentation for your appliance or remove the failed component and get the part number from the failed unit to make sure you purchase an exact replacement.

    I have yet to pull out my dishwasher, so I don't know if this is the solution to my problem. But I 'liked' and subscribed anyway, solely on the basis of "this is an under-the-counter dishwasher ... although it's not under the counter right now" lol ... a true classic in the annals of mediocre maintenance accidental jokes! :-)

    I just installed this dishwasher at home. When I finished installing the led wasn’t even lighting up at all. But when I press the on/off button it beeps. When I attached the water supply tube was wet and dripping so I assume I just got that whole area soaked and that’s why the led isn’t lighting up. I’ll wait and look at it tomorrow. I’ll make sure everything is dry, make sure everything inside is properly aligned. Then I’ll try again.

  • @emilyalbert3887

    Could this cause the sink to back up? Upon investigating a backed up sink I realized that the pump for the dishwasher kept running and the lights were not coming on. I believe this might be the problem but am not sure if it could affect the sink.

    • @kcstever1
      @kcstever1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! The backed up sink may cause the issue with the dishwasher but the dishwasher leaking would not be causing the sink to back up.

    Thank you for this video! I definitely have an internal leak but I can’t tell where it’s coming from. The dishwasher is only a year old. Any tips on identifying where the leak is coming from?

    • @kcstever1
      @kcstever1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow, only a year old, that is frustrating! It's difficult without seeing it but I would just dry everything out really good and then run it and using a flashlight see if I could see where it's coming from. Good luck!

  • @efgee

    So what was causing the blank error? And why was the pump running ever few minutes? That is my problem.

    • @kcstever1
      @kcstever1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The cause of the blank error and the E15 seem to be the same. Not sure why the pump runs or why the display is blank but the fix is still to dry out the water and find the leak as shown in the video. Good luck!

  • @awuttke5905

    but i never have figured out why the 2:09 timer defaults and flashes between washings on my Bosch dishwasher (yours too i see)

    • @kcstever1
      @kcstever1  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe that's showing that the wash will take 2 hours and 9 minutes when started. If it's flashing you need to press Start for it to begin when it's closed.

    • @kcstever1

      @@kcstever1 yup exact same problem I just can’t get my keypad to light up again after i cleaned up the water, when I trigger the float switch manually I hear the pump running just like before but cannot get that darn keypad to light up again at all, I was gunna buy another keypad and control board but seeing this video it seems I’m not the only one to have no lights after an e15, I just didn’t know if there’s something I’m missing to reset it or what

    • @kcstever1
      @kcstever1  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Jushwa I would make sure that float is fully seated. Maybe pop it up and down a few times. Or maybe moisture got in the switch? Run a hair dryer on it for a minute? Also, unplug/plug it in if you can. Just thinking what I would try. Good luck!
