    Brilliant!!! Thanks for solving our issue, saved us a fortune! I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but I cleaned the sensors inside the machine, just under the door lip, with white vinegar. It supposedly removes limescale build up, one word of caution don't use rubbing alcohol for this, use only household white vinegar.
    Thanks again Ken, you sir are a genius. 👏

    • @kensuzuki9319
      @kensuzuki9319  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That sensor must be for checking humidity inside the driver. If there are too much humidity inside the drum and the machine stops, which happens to mine, especially at the beginning of drying cycle. Normally only once of a drying cycle I have to let humidity out, then ok. I try your method for cleaning it. Thanks for your time to have commented. Nice year!

    Thanks Ken. This sorted out my problem. I have had this problem for a long time and could not solve it (slightly different model but it works exactly the same). Your video was the solution and it works fine now. I used the short-cut method of cleaning it from the heat exchange duct at the bottom left. There was quite a lot of fluff and water in there. After I cleaned it out, it is working fine. I would suggest that anyone trying it should first try to do it through the short-cut method instead of disassembling everything. I think that in 90%+ of the cases that should do the trick. Thanks again from South Africa

      Take off the clip plate and clean out the sump, then pour clean water into the sump and splash it around the level sensor. Run the dryer to drain this water out and repeat two more times. I predict you won't need to do this again for a year, at least.

    Fantastic, concise, video showing how to resolve this, thank you. I have a Bosch 300 series that began giving me the drain error after 10 minutes or so. With this video I was able to open up my dryer, vaccume out all the sludge in the bottom and button it back up in under an hour. One thing I’d recommend if you really get down with a flashlight and look inside, past the sump on the back side of the dryer there was considerable sludge built up there as well. I vacuumed all that up and wiped it down as well, good as new

      Oh no, I'm thinking of buying a model similar to this. It has a sump pump fit as well but they don't include a cover for this model, so it's an open pit that we don't have to open the lid in order to clean. Ken, just wanted to say thank you greatly for the video. My 300 series dryer had been performing beautifully for years and suddenly started throwing the DR error code out of nowhere. I knew there must have been build up somewhere, but the heat exchanger I cleaned multiple times and same with the vent hose (and repositioning that many many times).
