Looks like a well thought through Set. I´m currently shooting a Zniper with 2 backup Yost Tabs in the Bowbag and can´t see me change anytime soon but still curious about your Reviews.
    Keep ´em coming ;)

Thanks a bunch! I shoot the same set too.I love my Yost brass tab. The patina on the brass after shooting it for a couple years is the best. I've got more tab videos in the line up, so stay tuned.

Quality video and fantastic review. Would like to know what the rules say about tab markings though?

Thanks brother. Good to talk to you yesterday. I'll check into the tab thing. I feel like sometimes the tab issue is a moving target when it comes to rules and regs. I know the Zniper and the Yost are compliant, but still good to check.

I've ended up here again xD What are your thoughts on thickness for someone with quite sensitive nerves? The reason I ask, struggling with some nerve issues so I'm going to be changing to a deeper hook and have been told a ticker/stronger tab will help also. Currently, I've only had 2mm of a "smooth leather" and 1mm of soft leather on my tab shooting 38-40lbs and suffering from some finger numbness the last few days.

What tab are you currently shooting? How many lbs are on your fingers at full draw? I think using a deep hook is a good move. As far as tab thickness, I would make sure to use a good cordovan facing with at least 2 mm of suede on the back, or neoprene(4mm total) if you are still experiencing finger numbness. I have shot with up to 5mm at times in the past, especially with heavier draw weights. It might also help to do some wrist, hand, and arm stretching to help your muscles, and nerves recover. I'm not a doctor or a trained physical therapist, but I have had success relieving shooting injuries with warm ups, stretches, and post training recovery exercises, and taping. Let me know how it goes.

@@PointOnArchery Currently shooting 36lbs at a 29 inch draw, although recently after settling into things and finding my anchor I can feel my draw has extended from when I was first measured, as Im noticing a small amount of stacking on the last 1/2 of my draw into my anchor as a engage my back, so most likely at full draw when fresh to be pulling around 38/40lbs. I wore my glove over my tab yesterday whilst shooting, with a slightly deeper hook and it made a huge difference. I've ordered a fairweather barebow tab, plan to use 2 pieces of leather and the suede piece, I almost bought a Yost but hear he prefers a slightly thinner cordovan piece so went with the more tunable fairweather tab to start. Fingers are feeling loads better today, little sore but no increased numbness. I use a physiotherapy rubber band to warm up with its hilarious seeing the looks I get as I stretch xD Think I will do some more focussed hand stretches too now you've mentioned it. Thanks again

Oh my current tab is a Decut Rugbii, after using it and learning what I have learnt... I really wouldn't recommend one for anything over 28lbs tbh, its soft leather and works out to be 3mm thick total, half of which is the soft backing. Lesson learnt as a newbie.

Nice video! Do you have these for sale and how much are they?

Thanks so much! And no, I do not currently sell these tabs. Lancaster Archery has them in all sizes except 17, 18, 19, and 20. For the money it's an excellent buy.
