Marks on a tab don’t have to have uniform spacing. They need to be the same shape/colour etc, but you can mark your 5,10,15,20, etc no matter how varied the spacing (hence the blank tape and the marker). WA have issued a clarification on this very point because for some reason it keeps coming up

Love the equipment reviews of stuff for recurve shooters. 😁

Perfect BB tab, using it since last year. Feels very comfortable and releases perfectly.

The difference between the two spacers (barebow) is stiffness.
the green one is softer than the bronze and feels squishier.
I love the Fairweather tabs. Have both a 3under and split finger tab by Simon.

Question. What happens to the leather tabs when they get wet ? Does the leather loose its shape when it dries ?

Mine & my daughters modulus recurve tab's doesn't loose shape when it's wet. My daughter has two, one with a shelf for recurve and one without for longbow. She recently shot at a very wet tournament and the tab wasn't a issue at all. Simon on his website actually recommends wetting it for a few seconds under a tap the first time you shoot it to set a nice string groove and it will dry out after a few ends.

Cordovan Leather comes from south american horses. So. But a plastic tab?

I would only buy them if they were made with Simon's pet skin.

      You mean Simon's foreskin don't you? 😉

I understand what you're saying about using the parts of animals that would otherwise be wasted...
However, I'd really like to see some options that aren't animal based, especially for the modular tab designs like this one.
A nice microfiber backing and vulkollan face would appeal to a lot of vegetarian and vegan shooters.
Even just making this available without the leather parts so you can add in your own materials would be a good step.

Kangaroo leather is also used in MOTO GP motorcycle racing leather suits. Go Australian.

I must say that I find those tabs (recurve) highly overpriced and over-hyped. I actually bough it here in Europe and the price is 30-50% greater than other tabs I use, but it is not of a greater quality, heck it uses inferior plastic. Also hate the "DLC finger spacer" not included with the tab generating additional costs. The ring itself is very good though. It is 100% the best part of this tab.

I have been hunting (pardon the pun) high and low for a good vegan barebow tab. No luck. It's so sad really. There are so many vegan materials out there these days that could be better on the string friction and thinner to 'feel' the string on the tips. Why has nobody got onto this?

Jewish foreskin is a great alternative to animal leather.
