Thank you! Would you recommend when staying in Antigua and doing a volcano tour, should you check out of the hotel and bring all your stuff with you? Or is it better to keep a hotel room and leave your stuff there?
It depends on what tour you are doing! If you're doing the overnight Acatenango, I would check out! The tour company I went through (Ox) had lockers where we could keep our stuff. But it also depends if you are planning on staying in Antigua for more days after the tour. I didn't which is why I checked out!
Too bad you didn't have time to explore the pacific coast where you can enjoy the natural canals in Chiquimulilla. You can book a shuttle from Antigua to get there on an excellent four lane highway.. But any way you did an excellent job with your Travel Guide. Thanks for sharing.
I did.. honestly I just booked it at a tour place in the street but the one I did wasn't the best. Booking through a hostel might be a better bet! Most of the tours leave from San Pedro, and I stayed in San Marcos which made it a little bit harder, but still doable! I'd just ask around and try to find a good one once you are there. It was really easy to book the day before.
awesome video! when flying into Guatemala did you have to show any other documents besides passport and customs form. Ive heard something about you having to show proof of traveling out of Guatemala like a leaving flight ticket or some way to show them that you have a way to leave. just wondering!
No, I didn't have to show proof. They probably asked how long I was planning to stay, but honestly my experience was that it was really quick and easy!
Absolutely wonderful recap and straight to the point!! I’m going in December and this has been the most helpful vlog I’ve seen. Thank you.

Very informative and straight to the point, keep up the good work! Question, did you book a tour to hike up Indian nose hike?
