I get the joke but it is annoying that NPCs tend to ignore the other NPCs and focus on the player. Especially when during the Conjuration build after being caught off guard.

I can’t believe you didn’t draw an anti-skyrim bear circle in the dirt. It’s one of the most basic precautions against a skyrim bear.
Those are only for the Sea species of Bear, and as we saw the Skyrim bear had a slight disadvantage in water. Be careful not to mix up survival tactics! If you tried to run from a Sea Bear like you do for Skyrim bears it’d pummel you like it was in the WWE

Just imagine. You're going about your day in riverwood, chopping wood, talking with family and friends, and overall enjoying the day. Then, a human cat hybrid with a loincloth comes running through with bears poofing into existence every few seconds.
It's just like being a pedestrian in GTA San Andreas, you're just minding your own business, then you see the entire military chasing a black man wielding a minigun.

If you're going to run from a bear, try running downhill. They're front heavy so they might trip and end up tumbling down to the bottom. Of course, now the bear is at the bottom of the hill and can chase you up it, and it's probably really pissed, but it'll be pretty funny.

@@calipigenia secure, contain, protect. A website of... monsters(?), places(?), objects(?), and things that are none, all, and/or some of these as submitted by people across the internet. I don't really have a better synopsis. It's something you are just going to have to look up a video on or just visit the website and look up some at random (it's not hugely controversial in my experience and results should be reasonable enough).

I’m going to take this opportunity for some irl bear safety tips:
When hiking in an area you know has bears, talk. Even if you’re alone the sound of your voice will often be enough to keep bears away.
Bear mace DOES NOT have to be sprayed directly at the bear’s face. Spraying it at the ground near its feet will still cause the fumes to enter its nose and mouth.
If you do encounter a bear DO NOT turn and run. They’re faster and that behavior is commonly seen in prey animals. Instead, walk backwards, slowly, while facing the bear. Talking in this situation will also help as the bear won’t think you’re prey. If it makes itself bigger, DO NOT challenge it by making yourself bigger and more threatening or it will attack. (Don’t listen to the “play dead or climb” tips either. The best option is to show you aren’t prey and show that you aren’t a threat)
If you have food, make sure it’s properly contained. If a bear can smell it, it’ll investigate and increase your odds of encountering a bear.
If you see cubs, stay away from them. Even if you don’t see the mother, she’s always nearby and will attack you if you get too close to them.

Yeah, exactly. What you should do if you actually encounter bears is to find some sort of obstacle around which you can dodge.
Then you blast them with flames until you've leveled your destruction skill up to a point where you can reliably kill them in less than 10 seconds.

This is almost like my most recent character on Skyrim. I would find a bear almost every couple minutes. In one short session I was jumped by 15 bears over the course of about an hour. There were bears where bears don't even normally spawn.

DO NOT RUN FROM BEAR
If you back away slowly without looking them in the eyes, they most likely will not attack. Bears are really fast, can climb anything you can twice as fast, Can swim and can tank low caliber bullets without stopping even for a second. Bears WILL kill you.

Depends on the kind of bear too. There are videos with black vs brown bear precautions. But yes never running because it will make you look like prey/something to chase. Most predators will chase you if you run from them. I feel like this relates to why dogs and cats like it when you throw toys for them or make them move so the animal can chase it and pounce on it and simulate killing it.
