i Had this problem and adjusting the tension helped but it didn't completely resolve the problem. switching out the bobbin with the loose string helped 100%. I replaced one of my bobbins with a newly threaded one, played around with the tension and it was fixed!
I'm using the exact kind of sewing machine. Before it can sew any kind of fabric but now it won't stitch other fabric other than silk fabric. It frustrates me so much. What should I do?

@@twanafinch5409 I found after a lot of trials that the timing was slightly off. I had to open the machine and make the bottom gear 'slip' by just 2 teeth. Now it is working fine. Probably because the machine has plastic gears, the teeth might have slipped while operating with thicker fabric.
