If I'm going to be honest this video brought me soo much hope I came out to my family 4 years ago and its as if it never happened fast forward to now I'm a senior almost graduating and I kept telling myself I'm going to do it and stick up for myself but the self doubt and just the thought of what if they don't accept me? It'll be okay. I came out to my mother when I was 12. I came out to her through a school project and she wouldn't say anything other than "It's a phase. You'll get over it just like I did." I know that this is who I am and that fact won't change but it still hurts sometimes.

Only to slap us halfway with hope that it's not always painful, it should never stay as painful as it is, that our love matters.
