  • What do you do when you have run out of wall space for your paintings and have no sofas left for cushins, when relatives and friends have "home made gift fatigue"? Well, Sharon took to doing it all over again, but in miniature. If you enjoy crafting, stitching, painting and sculpting, this video should be of interest to you. Join Sharon as she takes you on a room by room tour, from the Wizard's garret at the top of the house, to the kitchen on the lower floor. Sharon will then choose some of her favourite individual items and will explain their history and the mechanics of their creation. This will appeal to young and old alike.

Omgoodness! I'm not alone! I too have a massive issue 'just binning' anything with a remotely intriguing looking shape; that looks like it may possibly potentially be... something

Oh how funny! You too! I sit there sometimes with something in my hand turning it over and thinking about it… my husband now knows the signs. “Put it down”, he says. “You don’t need it, nothing to see here!” And we have a good giggle!

I loved this house from first sight of the half timbered exterior. I was astounded, starting with your exquisite painted ceiling and roof. Then all the mini stitching and crafting of items in the house left me speechless. I've never seen a finer dollhouse.

Oh Sharon, thank you so much for sharing this! .. I don't have a doll's house myself, but have always admired them..in fact, minature ANYTHING makes my heart sing!
Like you, I made my own little rooms out of boxes when a youngling 🙂. There is a miniatures museum not far from me, & I can loose myself for an entire day in there.
I've had a lovely time visiting your teeny home this afternoon, I really have - THANK YOU ever so much xx

Hello! So glad you liked it. My dolls house is one twelfth scale. So basically one in for every foot. If I were making a man doll, if here were 6’ tall, I would make him 6” tall. Everything gets smaller when you work in one 36th or one 48th…you need a magnifying glass. My Stump House and Wizards Tower (also on my TH-cam channel) are probably 1: 36th. 😁
