I love the dresser - how great to have a Welsh piece to cram full of gorgeous finishes! I have a book recommendation for you. It’s a bit of an arm-breaker (600+ pages) by so great - The Bee Sting by Paul Murray. An Irish family story but so well done - he captures the voices so beautifully and it moves towards quite a climax. I have always loved seeing you work on Pink House Sampler and whilst pink is not usually my colour I’d be delighted to make an exception. I know what you mean about the fancy ladies - I suspect that Princess Eliana will be my one and only but I find it interesting to try at least one of everything. Lady Tala is one of the most beautiful Bella Filipina for me, but I also love stitching funny animal projects, so I enjoy seeing the other full coverage wips that you have. I feel a bit funny now because when I heard that animal noise at the beginning of this video I thought it was a cat meowing, that goes to show just how cat-obsessed I am. :) Best of luck with your new job, hope it is everything you need and want right now. I knew you would get it finished this year. What a great project to be your first completed full coverage! I am so proud of you! So which Chris Dunn piece will be your next focus point? So exciting to see some of your other full coverages come out. Walter really liked Blackberry Dragon and especially the moon. I didn't realized how much I have missed seeing Feast. Congrats on finally completing the skirt of Mary, Mary! That is a huge achievement, not a little one! According to the calculations I could find on-line, you should average 550 stitches per yard for 36 count using 1 thread. With 6-ply silk at 275 yards/meters (per Misses Sedas' website) per hank, I calculate it is 1650 yards per hank. I came up with 1650 yards per hank using 1 strand x 550 per yard for a total of 907,500 stitches out of a hank. If anyone sees a flaw with my calculations, please feel free to comment but, based on my calculations, you should have way more than enough silk for your Long Dog. So many beautiful WIPs, projects, and perfect stitches. Congrats on your new job! So wonderful that you were able to meet up with Sally and had such a delightful time. Merry Christmas to you and your family in your new home.

I knew you would get it finished this year. What a great project to be your first completed full coverage! I am so proud of you! So which Chris Dunn piece will be your next focus point? So exciting to see some of your other full coverages come out. Walter really liked Blackberry Dragon and especially the moon. I didn't realized how much I have missed seeing Feast. Congrats on finally completing the skirt of Mary, Mary! That is a huge achievement, not a little one! According to the calculations I could find on-line, you should average 550 stitches per yard for 36 count using 1 thread. With 6-ply silk at 275 yards/meters (per Misses Sedas' website) per hank, I calculate it is 1650 yards per hank. I came up with 1650 yards per hank using 1 strand x 550 per yard for a total of 907,500 stitches out of a hank. If anyone sees a flaw with my calculations, please feel free to comment but, based on my calculations, you should have way more than enough silk for your Long Dog. So many beautiful WIPs, projects, and perfect stitches. Congrats on your new job! So wonderful that you were able to meet up with Sally and had such a delightful time.
