Hello Elaine! It's so wonderful to see you again with all of your amazing stitching! Thank you so much for mentioning my name... it really warmed my heart 💓 I have been watching all of your videos but I haven't been feeling great so I keep promising to message you when I feel better and it hasn't quite happened yet. I'm so glad you are doing well and have so many stitching connections in your life! I think I told you that I reconnected with a wonderful friend from my past who is a mega stitcher! She has been quite the enabler too, but has been so encouraging and supportive. I didn't think I could ever do a large stitch, but I am working on Christmas Garden by Blackbird and have started Christmas at Hawkrun Hollow. I'll send you some pictures soon! Feast is looking fantastic as is Rejoice Evermore and and all of the others. I am excited to see you start your Chatelaine. What a beautiful project bag! I LOVED seeing your chicken set up! My daughter is 18 and graduating this year. She is taking an Agriculture class where she has her own garden and has the opportunity to spend time with a variety of animals. She was able to bring 11 chicks home for 2 weeks and I just loved them! I wish I could be there and sit on the bench with you. My stitchy friend and her daughter will be coming down from Northern BC for the same week you are going to Italy. We'll have to compare notes. I hope you have a wonderful time. I know this is a long message in the comment section but I just had to go for it! I would love Autumn or Home. Hi Elaine! Congrats on your new chicken. Congrats on your finish of Autumn. Feast is really looking great! Love the way the squirrel is looking already. The moon in Blackberry Dragon is so phenomenal looking, great progress. Louisa Barny has such an intricate but beautiful border. It really makes this piece. Very beautiful bags from Pauline. If I missed it, belated happy birthday and happy third floss tube anniversary! Thank you for the introduction to your chickens! Amazing how attached we can get to them. Walter and I are currently trying to have around 8 Tiger Garden moths and 1 white tiger moth cocoon and then turn into moths. We found a mess of the caterpillars in our backyard and I thought it would be a good teaching thing so he is helping me gather leaves, grasses and flowers for them when they are over and watching them through the container. I won't let him touch the caterpillars themselves since they are hairy ones and often if you touch the hairy ones, it will result in a rash. I am finally, I think, over the infections I have had since February, last one was a sinus infection. Go to see a new doctor tomorrow since my doctor is moving out of state, so will see what he says. Had a CT of my sinuses which shows I have a deviated septum so my old doctor wanted me to see an ENT specialist. I am still coughing but not nearly as bad but have so very little energy. Hope your cough resolves soon. I will be hurting for the next week as we are supposed to be in the mid to upper 80s and rain for that period of time. Take care my friend. Happy stitching. My birthday is also in July so it could be my birthday start. The raven returned to the fairy home in the autumn. Enjoy your vacation!

Ah lovely vid as usual Ellie. Can't believe how the time goes so fast! I must admit when I tune in I miss swing cheese delivery lol it's on my list to do😊. Lovely home pattern. By the way, check out fresh start for hens, they rescue x commercial hens and I think they have an Anglesey collection point. Chickens get quite addictive. We kept ducks for years and yes they are messy but just in a different way to hens really. They don't need a pond as such but enjoy water to wash in and wet the nares.

Congratulations on your 3 years- I’m so glad you love doing the videos because I love watching them 😊 I really wish that one day I could attend a stitching retreat but both my children are special needs and due to my husband’s working hours- I’m either at work or caring for my boys on my own. Maybe at some point my husband could book a weekend off so I can attend somewhere (although they’d probably have to come with me anyways as the boys don’t settle without me) Sorry, gone on a ramble there but I would so love to come and meet other UK stitchy folk in person. I’d also be interested to know what fabric your friend chose for evening in the park. I’ve only got the pattern so far so I’m far from actually starting it but I’m slowly going to kit it up and hopefully start in in the next year or so. I kept seeing Teresa’s Evening in the Park and I’ve totally fallen in love with it and I think it has to happen and I’d love to get it finished for my 50th so I’ve got 6 years. No pressure 😅 anyway, lovely to hear your catch up and I look forward to when you get started on your chatelaine xx
