  • Hey Everyone!
As you all know I always encourage people to build for their mental health. But sometimes, no matter how much we build, it doesn't quite help. Today I want to talk about why building gunpla isn't working and what you can do to fix it.
Thank you guys so much for checking out my video! If you enjoyed it, please leave a like and hit the subscribe button. If you want to follow me on updates or just see more of what's going on, follow me on Instagram @Plamotherapist !

My wife passed away from cancer back in February last year and since then my mental and physical health has been in decline. Apart from our three kids, Gunpla has quickly and rather unexpectedly become this outlet for me that helps regulate myself while I'm still trying to process my grief. Im thankful for the Gunpla community and Im very thankful I cam across this video today.

What an innovative approach on model building. These therapeutic sessions coupled with your "how to" content really round
out the hobby. I'm an old grizzled armor modeler and absolutely agree with setting life priorities. When people say there are
many levels to the hobby I wonder how many took it to this level. I've started to dabble with Gunpla and now have my grandson
building. Young man, keep ringin' the bell.....eventually it'll be heard!

Hey! Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
I heard this recently and maybe you can apply it to your building and painting, but the saying goes, "Sucking is the first step to succeeding." So don't think that your builds are bad, they're just your first steps towards being good. 😁

@@PlamoTherapistspot on, as a designer and molder kit-basher, for over 50 years, we all start at zero and build from that... many people today especially in the west do not want to put the time in. time in any thing, design, modeling, cooking, etc is the only thing you cant take a short cut or hack,... with TIME you will get better, there will be plateaus, but you will get better.

The "Entry Grade" series of Gunpla require no tools to assemble. They retail for around $10.
