I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s years ago. My doctor a few years ago told me to work on puzzles for my dexterity. I was just transforming MP Tramsformers but didn’t help. He suggested model kits. Now im addicted to gunpla and it’s helped me a lot.

I am so sorry for your loss. While I know gunpla won't take away the pain, I hope it helps you to be strong enough to get through it. Lean on your community mates when you can. This hobby has introduced me to some of the kindest and most supportive people I know, and I hope you find them too. I wish you all the best for you and your family.

I started gunpla few months ago and it helped a lot. I was a warhammer painter but it was never a hobbie I fully enjoyed, it was starting to feel like a chore. But one day in a comic con here in Barcelona (Spain) I bought the HG Justice Gundam and it clicked. I fell the same joy like when I was a kid with my Legos. That moment I knew gunpla was for me. So thank you for you videos. you are amazing

I turned to Gunpla when videogames really stopped being my outlet and I found it very therapeutic and much more satisfying for myself. So every time I found myself in a dark place, I would tell myself to go grab a kit and build. Honestly helped me out a lot more than I thought it would

When I was a little kid my aunt and my dad Taught me the concept of when I am upset Or sad I should try to do something creative and or constructive So when I am dealing with those kind of emotions Building models or Doing something engineering related Or even arts and crafts Has helped me out a lot and has given me a healthy way To let out my emotions In a safe And allow myself To cry Safe place. But in the end it all depends on certain peoples brain chemistry And also how they have ways to deal with stress or depression Based on their own experiences My sister does it by singing or crying and screaming her lungs out When for example A concert ticket she paid for is cancelled or the 3 Week long depression she has whenever one of her friends stop talking to her

Likely the best explanation of what depression is in simple and clear terms! Thank you Taz for your service to the community! Surely, building gunpla and model kits in general is such a mental health benefit, at least for me. Luckily, I don’t think I suffer from depression but having my hobby is such a relief from the life’s stressors!
