I've been a huge fan of Journey since my high school days in the late 70s but i fell away later in years. I'm a little late to the party as I wasn't following the changes with Steve and now Arnel. In fact I literally just found the re-recorded songs with Arnel and was truly blown away by his vocal chops. Now, watching this and other videos, it's crystal clear why they chose him as their front man: his energy, charisma, and outstanding vocal quality and range put him in a league of his own. Literal chills while watching this video today. I'm also in awe to see a classic American band have an Asian fronting for them. This is just beyond words for me. Much love. Must respect.

I was in Manila, two days before this concert after visiting my Philippine fiancée for 3 months. I saw the advertisement for the concert on the wall of The Mall of Asia. ‘Oh my god Journey’s playing on Saturday!’ My plane left on Thursday morning back to the US and I hadn’t bought insurance to change my ticket. I saw the stage being assembled and the chairs being set up. I didn’t even realize the lead singer was Filipino until I got back to the US. I would have bought front row tickets. I would have been seen on the DVD that had been created from that concert (an incredible concert by the way). Every time I watch the DVD I vividly remember walking right there at the entrance to the Mall of Asia just two days prior. I have always regretted not changing my plane ticket, missing what would have been one of the greatest experiences of my life. 😢

AP got that awesome natural rasp when he sings ballad songs, it's full of passion and emotion, and it's mesmerizing !! !! I have experienced watching Journey with AP on LIVE Concerts many times and it was an incredible experience each time! Arnel Pineda has been my favorite since I was in my early 20's and I'm so happy learning that he would be the lead vocalist of an iconic band-Journey, I really love their songs! I watched all his videos with the Zoo band performing live at the Hard Rock Cafe (and I love his long hairstyle that time, he was so handsome)
Long hair fits you really well. And maybe it also carries your power like Samson in the bible or Rapunzel in the movie Tangled. You still have that beautiful voice and I can only imagine how much more powerful it would be if you grow back the hair :) Kidding aside, long hair or not you still amaze us. Most of journey songs are very nice to hear specially the lyrics. But the two that i liked the most is during arnel's debut with the band. After all these years and turn down the world tonight are my favorite.

Man, my daddy was a lifelong journey fan. In the year before he died he watched their concert with Arnel on DVD alot. He knew he didn't have much time and due to a severe heart attack that led to him losing so much of his memory, I always wondered how much he actually remembered. But I knew when he watched the music and videos he loved, he still was there. He was so impressed with Arnel and I guess I never paid much attention. He really is amazing. This song in particular has been a huge part of my life since I was maybe 5. It will never not make me cry 😭

I am a mother of one and only son from Canada (that's why my name is "unicohijo"). Arnel Pineda has been my favorite since I was in my early 20's and I'm so happy learning that he would be the lead vocalist of an iconic band-Journey, I really love their songs! I watched all his videos with the Zoo band performing live at the Hard Rock Cafe (and I love his long hairstyle that time, he was so handsome)

Long hair fits you really well. And maybe it also carries your power like Samson in the bible or Rapunzel in the movie Tangled. Most of journey songs are very nice to hear specially the lyrics. But the two that i liked the most is during arnel's debut with the band. After all these years and turn down the world tonight are my favorite.

Man, my daddy was a lifelong journey fan. In the year before he died he watched their concert with Arnel on DVD alot. He knew he didn't have much time and due to a severe heart attack that led to him losing so much of his memory, I always wondered how much he actually remembered. But I knew when he watched the music and videos he loved, he still was there. He was so impressed with Arnel and I guess I never paid much attention. He really is amazing. This song in particular has been a huge part of my life since I was maybe 5. It will never not make me cry 😭
