I've made several purchases from EA. I'm lucky to live close by, just across the border in South Carolina, so I drive there and pick up my attachments. I always glean a few words of wisdom from the old timers in the shop. Ted has built a nice company.
It helps you educating us on how to spot quality versus cheaper units. Pay more for more or pay less for less. Most often we pay more for less. EA offers more for more but a tremendous value for those who want quality and who can afford it...buy once, cry once, and then love using the best for a lifetime.
That's quite impressive. Especially that angle that the blades mount to. I have a Land Pride and put a big dent in my angle the first week trying to back drag (push some dirt backwards and hit a rock).
I have the EA rear blade and it has been fantastic. Fully adjustable and strong. My only problem now is to add more weight so it cuts better. 60 HP Kubota
Tim is huffing and puffing, too much. Don’t let that man lift heavy steel ! By the way, I am ordering one of these, first thing, tomorrow! Way to go, Ted
I have been using your 6' Land plan for 3 years and think it is great . I maintain about 1/2 mile of sandy gravel road in a beach cottage community . My problem is the bolt on side ware bars only last one season as the ends ware to thin because they are not harden steel. I realize it is too difficult to punch square holes in harden steel for the bolts. Why can't you burn round holes and weld treaded studs in a harder steel ? Or use your softer steel ware bars with 12" harder steel end sections welded in line. That is where all the ware takes place when dragging forward or pushing backwards. I made a pair of harder ware bars with the welded stud method to try out for this summer season. I will let you know if it works any better . Doug
Thanks for a detailed, excellent explanation of this piece of equipment. How much is the 6 footer? What HP do I need in the tractor and PTO for the 6 footer?
Awesome! Thanks for the business, and you'll love the Wicked land plane, also!! www.everythingattachments.com/Land-Leveler-Land-Plane-With-Scarifier-Rippers-p/eta-land-leveler-ws-2.htm
What I have found using my land leveler is that I tend to do a lot of pushing the material while backing up with the implement. Would another cutting blade or wear bar be appropriate on the backside of the cutting blade bar or is the steel that is there enough? I am seeing just a bit of wear on mine in that spot now after putting about 150 hours on the tool.
He mentioned @6:00 the holes are for a second cutting edge if you do a lot of back dragging or pushing in reverse. Cutting edges are $100 compared to ruining that structural part.

I think you could have made it a little bit stronger. Just kidding, that’s the top-of-the-line land plane, for sure. Unfortunately, my 2952 Ford 8N can’t lift it.
Can you specify why you built a lighter model? Maybe it’s been mentioned but I haven’t found. I have a JD 2032R and was wondering when the time comes which one I would save up for. Also: are these 3 months wait time like I’ve seen other products are?

I love this company and will support them every opportunity I get
It’s awesome what you all do and how you always think about the customer and ease of use. It’s all heavier built as well!!

Great detailed overview of the product and enhancements being added over time. Thank you!
I've learned quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten!
They are the only implement company I buy from, they never disappoint!
Thanks so much! We try really hard to furnish the very best for you guys!!

Very nice and smart looking Landplane
Some very nice upgrades since purchasing my 2 year old EA 84” Landplane. Keep the upgrade improvements coming for all of your products!! 👍🏻

Ted I like your dedication to making it the best...I miss the vids of Ted tested LOL, if it stands up to Ted tested it is good .
Did not use my new ea 84" blade much yet. But happy with the two hours so far. Real nice heavy blade.
Awesome.
I also love this company and the 2 attatchements I have, I will continue to support them, as my financial dictator allows.
That land plane will survive the second coming.

Can't argue with that, sir! Thanks for the support. 👊
Yup. Added to the list…..
Awesome!! We'll be glad to assist.
Can I trade my EA box blade in on a land leveler?
Apparently I've got caught up in that mess also

sure wish i had the money to get this kind of product. EA products look beast. but, i can only afford to stick with my vassar box blade.
That landplane looks to me like it's 8 ft wide not 84 inches
It’s 7ft.

Beats that John Deere junk. Now, go get your $2000.00 software update and get back out in the field!
Overbuilt! Just they way they’re supposed to be made!
