I will drive aggressively and be an idiot because thats what the other driver is doing. It can’t possibly be that my speeding was the real reason for the near miss I have misjudged junctions and roundabouts but I won’t be forgiving to other other drivers who do the same. Yep. Even worse if they're overtaking a cyclist, as a lot of drivers have the patience of a toddler and can't bear to wait 3 seconds, so overtake when it's not safe.
I've learned to take extreme caution with overtaking, been a couple of times where my judgement wasn't all there and it gave me the common sense to hang back until it's 110% safe.
Agreed. People overtake dangerously, but also increasingly behave dangerously and erratically when being overtaken. It is not uncommon when performing a perfectly legal and safe overtake, within the posted speed limit, to have the overtaken driver flash lights, blare horn, or - my personal favourite - close right up to the vehicle in front to prevent the overtaking driver from pulling back in, thereby deliberately trying to provoke a head on crash. The standard of driving in the UK has become proper bottom of the barrel stuff, and lax enforcement (read none outside of speeding) is partly to blame. As is generally deteriorating mental health. Everyone seems to be angry and uptight.

The most astonishing thing about the perpetrators on most of the compilations is that they are probably unaware of the enormity and give zero fks of the dangers they've put themselves and others in. Most drive like they have blinkers on.

9:18, that learner driver wasn't indicating correctly yes, but Sebby M (and all drivers) should probably drive a bit more carefully around learners. For starters, you don't want to show off any bad habits, and learner drivers make mistakes more often than licensed drivers (generally. there are careful learners and really really, really stupid drivers with licenses) so it makes sense to be a bit slower when approaching the roundabout.

I'm not sure if they're even allowed to turn right there, certainly never seen anyone try it before in my 2+ years of driving around here. I'd certainly never try it as it's a very busy road in both directions and you're almost doing a u turn in effect as the motorway slip road runs alongside the main road for a way. I bought my first car just up the road from there and when I left the garage, I had to turn right and come down towards this overpass, took me about 5 minutes I was that nervous lol

I think the issue was Romero simply didn’t control his vehicle much beyond changing his headlight setting to full beams until it was too late, then he discovered his steering wheel and once he found the brake pedal it actually stopped very very quickly.

Wouldn’t have been funny if a pedestrian had been on the pavement. Romero was over the speed limit and couldn’t control his vehicle. Needs taking off the road.
@@servicekid7453 I don’t think Romero couldn’t control his vehicle due to excessive speed. I think the issue was Romero simply didn’t control his vehicle much beyond changing his headlight setting to full beams until it was too late, then he discovered his steering wheel and once he found the brake pedal it actually stopped very very quickly.
These videos should replace the hazard perception test!
