Hey man, I sent you an email about the photo that you wanted to kinda look at part of that other TH-cam quit but your inbox is full. It says can't take emails empty your inbox man I got some kick ass photos to send you
The final note at 8:34 was much appreciated. There is no replicating the analysis that goes into spending your own money. It's an inherent drawback in the influencer ecosystem--thank you for acknowledging it.
damn. been watching some of your older content (1-3 years ago) lately and your physique is fire right now. look at those biceps. keep eating what you’re eating.
It's easy to get bogged down looking at the pros and cons of 10 different products. Sometimes it enough just for someone (who means well) to review one, and tell us that it does a decent job. And it looks like this one does that.
If you keep the legs together after extending them on the Ulanzi then you can open/close the three clamps together at each section on the three legs. Much faster. You would have beat or tied the Freewell. I hate the twist clamps on tripods. I love the clamps and the quick release plate on the Ulanzi. Freewell needs to offer a non-video head. Switching to vertical shots for photography is much easier with an L bracket so you keep the centre of gravity over the tripod. Great review!
I have Ulanzi and Peak Design plates and the Ulanzi ones seem to be slightly smaller and down fit in all Arca Swiss compatible tripod heads, including my Benro head or the Freewell travel tripod.
I have the very expensive Peak Design Carbon tripod with a small video head on it. When I bought it, there was no other option out there like there is now. I’m glad I have it, but it is way over priced today since there are other options now that are just as good, if not better, for half the price.
You crack me up! LOL The side comments are what does it. The only thing about the Freewell is that it has a built in monopod. The weight isn't that big of a difference to me. I mean as long as it's between I guess 3-5 pounds I just don't care who is the lightest. The Ulanzi though have been catching my eye. Thanks for the laughs. And look out for that stabby, wooden chair!
I rarely use a tripod, unless I am doing night shooting. I have a Velbon Sherpa 343, aluminium, weight 800g, max height 1.3m (51"), min height 16cm (6.5"), folded height 40cm (15.5"). Swapped out the Velbon head for a Selens ball-head with quick release Swiss Arca plate. It's very light, very strong and has a much slimmer profile when folded for carrying than a carbon fibre tripod. Got it for a silly cheap price, too!
Ulanzi mt 54 is ultimate in setup speed, height, and compactness. Not stable for large cameras, though. Perfect for pocket 3. Could blow away in the wind. LOL
Best of my tripods for travelling is Velbon Ultra Maxi i. I have it for about 10 years now, bought it 2nd hand for $25 equivalent. It is portable yet tall and strong. And that price.. person selling it had no idea.
Really weird that the Freewell comes with a video head. Maybe they sent it that way because they thought of you as a video guy? Question: Will an arca swiss L bracket be able to mount on that Ulanzi tripod head without the quick release plate? Question #2: This has nothing to do with tripods, but though you might have a good answer. Where are the left handed cameras? I play guitar and there are left handed guitars. But, no left handed cameras. Is this a conspiracy against left handed people? Did they have a a meeting about it? Thanks for the review. Have a great week.
I'm always wary of the tripods with a single twist-lock mechanism to lock multiple sections. I've had a couple of them and the mechanism failed within a few weeks. I've never had a problem with the flip style or twist-lock on each section. I'd rather save my money than save a few seconds in deployment - shooting with a tripod is never really fast.
Always looking for lightweight tools. Tripods beyond Gorilla never make it into my backpack.. As I get older, shaeky hands are becoming a problem. I'll try today's suggestions. Thanks.
I'm looking for the PERFECT camera for daily use when vlogging. I love the clean, crisp, simple mirrorless camera. What to you recommend? Pocket 3, mirrorless camera?
Damn…I thought you would be doing a review of the OM1 ii today! I know it’s more photography centric than most, but truly wished they sent you a pre-production copy too!
I have about 10,000 of the Ulanzi falcam base plates and I attach them to the tripod clamps.. And everything else with a 1/4-20 screw… or things that don’t, like cereal boxes, carrots, my wallet……
Does the ball head unscrew from the base? I like that the clips that control the spread of the legs seem to be made of metal. It is a weak detail of the coman.
I got the glue gun out last night and loaded the nubs with 240w of hot gorilla glue 10mm schmoo, used four sticks. Nothing really substitutes for a GoodWill family nut puncher, but hot schmoo works. Just don't twist it
Freewell goes almost...half way. I have to suppress correct the magenta cast in footage gathered with their filters, I can only imagine the mysterious easter eggs hidden in their other gadgets. I'll look forward to the Freewell induced smashed lens and camera body episode.
@@cameraconspiracies It's mainly due to extra fees like import duties and taxes in Canada. Rollei is a German company. These fees add up on top and along with other costs like handling and distribution, they hike up the final price you see in Canada.
I checked out ulanses tripod on Amazon, it was 310 British pounds . Are you kidding? I could have bought a new fridge for that. It would have kept my food fresh and been a very stable surface for my camera.
All I want is the perfect tripod! Would like you to explore the mono-pod with feet, though I could see that having huge lens are never going to work well, unless they are connected to the lens. Always great content with wit!

There is obly 1 'Quick Release' plate in my opinion and it is "Arca Swiss".
Look up the Revolve tripod and see if they'll give you one to review ✌🏾
Love the honesty at the end, a refreshing change for a lot other channels.
Out of all of the "review" channels out there, I would take your opinion at face value over anyone else.

wow Kasey, your “studio” looks professional with that tripod in the background…

Audio is little low in this episode? Or is it just my ears.
Just your eyes. Or the cripple hammer has such Casey again😂😂
for a few grams,,,, i will definately keep the Ulanzi,,,, Quick Release F38 & F22 ....rock on the free world.....
I like your unbiased opinion, even though it has been sent to you, and you didn't try to sugar coat your opinion, thank you
I have Ulanzi and Peak Design plates and the Ulanzi ones seem to be slightly smaller and down fit in all Arca Swiss compatible tripod heads, including my Benro head or the Freewell travel tripod.
I use a cheap tripod same length light wight pan and lift possibility and it does the job. For only 40us dollar. It never braked since 5 years

I own it 😮😂😂..it's fantastic..ulanzi customer service is great
Great video..... Sound gain is low or muffled sounding. FYI. I bought a Ulanzi tripod and I love it. Best travel tripod ! Perfect for on the go!

I prefer Heipi tripod. Also, I’ve never seen the point in caring about speed of setup. Has anyone missed a shot because it took 10s longer?
I have about 10,000 of the Ulanzi falcam base plates and I attach them to the tripod clamps..
And everything else with a 1/4-20 screw… or things that don’t, like cereal boxes, carrots, my wallet……
The ball head is supposed to be a level base for the video head above.
Does the ball head unscrew from the base? I like that the clips that control the spread of the legs seem to be made of metal. It is a weak detail of the coman.
I'like a great video tripod with bowl.
I've never found a good "travel" tripod
This is the best your red shirt has ever looked.
I got the glue gun out last night and loaded the nubs with 240w of hot gorilla glue 10mm schmoo, used four sticks. Nothing really substitutes for a GoodWill family nut puncher, but hot schmoo works. Just don't twist it
“He’s so ugly” 😂😂😂😂. It’s not true but I love your humor. Also agree with other comment. Appreciate the transparency of your own opinions. So thanks
The problem is that quick release doesn't work with a L bracket... I prefer the l bracket
i don't care about the rest of the video - where can i buy that quick release head!?
How's that blackmagic 4k huh hauhauhauhau
*$300*???? Oh, $50 off coupon. *$250*???? I'm tempted to say lol because lol.
my $10 light stands still work fine as a tripod for the rare occasions when I need one.
Fotopro X Aircross 3 - clearly the best travel tripod around.

I would recommend the Rollei Compact Traveler No I Carbon. It's 90 € (at Amazon Germany).
Why is it $240 CAD?! lol.
@@cameraconspiracies It's mainly due to extra fees like import duties and taxes in Canada. Rollei is a German company. These fees add up on top and along with other costs like handling and distribution, they hike up the final price you see in Canada.
Rollei doesn't make products themselves. They OEM everything from Chinese factories😂
@@coralzhong206 Surprise!
Think of this setup for a second... Canon R7 with EF 300mm t4 L IS... affordable, lightweight, 3D pop, animal eye tracking combo of gods?
Didn't mention the hook on the center post to hang a weight.
All tripods have that.
I trust your opinion. You actually film in public.
Does it come with spike feet?
leofoto mt04 with lh25 head... boom. real travel tripod...
The peak design is better than both. I’ll take build quality, over saving a bit of weight.
I checked out ulanses tripod on Amazon, it was 310 British pounds . Are you kidding? I could have bought a new fridge for that. It would have kept my food fresh and been a very stable surface for my camera.
Volume level a little low on this one.
"I mean well"
Buy Freewell
Missed opportunity tbh
🤣You make my day
is it just me or there is a weird audio in this video? it is dampened. I had to raise the volume all the way to hear anything.
J. Sizzle would have beat that time.
I luv ya man
All I want is the perfect tripod! Would like you to explore the mono-pod with feet, though I could see that having huge lens are never going to work well, unless they are connected to the lens. Always great content with wit!
@8:42 I decided on the Rollei Easy Traveller. I think it's better than the Ulanzi Zero in many ways, especially the center column.
Your sound levels are off on this video.

Video heads are game be changers for wildlife
This is a bit like a MarkusPix video.
I’m the 215 person to like this video and my area code is also 215😃
My tripod weighs a ton. It won't wiggle in a hurricane.
Awh yeah 2nd
Don't really need a tripod with an Olympus
Test the head for wildlife filming. Although I don't know if it'll even hold your 200-600 looking at how it struggled with the Canon 85 lol
Didn't Markus show you his fotopro tripods?
0:01 I disagree, once you try black (tripods) you never go back 🤣
No, slowmo road crossing. ?
Hmmm, colour cast with their filters makes me suspect of all their gear.
If you put 2 strips of teflon tape on the freewell gripper, you can make it go tight with the Ulanzi plate. Very handy stuff.
eleven eleventy leven😂
Why are you reviewing photography tripods?
Are you a photographer now?
