    Looking good Harry - loving the follow through on full shots - some good balance and great ball striking and consistent ball flights - I'll be looking to copy that when I can get back on our range which is closed due to Covid - grrr!!

    Looks like you are working hard on getting a bit more shallow through the impact zone as I have decided to work on the same type of drills going into 2021. Keep up the great work my man! Everything looks great and will be well worth the effort in the end. Happy New Year Harry!

    You are my role model. I took a leaf out of Rory McIlroy's swing, but now I'm trying to follow your simple, powerful swing. I will always support you.

    that cat is a gem. love the 1 foot feels for steep and shallow AOA
    Your cut swing is dialed, now you need more control hitting the inside of the ball for draws?
    P.S. when will we see more content out of you from RSA and when the hell are you coming to San Diego, I got courses for you and the course to play. Cheers

    Hey Flower, I notice you drift away from the golf ball in your takeaway (based on your cap line). Are you actively doing that as a feel?

    Wow mate if you look at around 8.47 mins and you go to the fleetwood 3 quarter swings the tempo and ball flight is unreal dead straight and long seriously that is the way to go because it looks so much better 👍👍
    Keep up the comeback mate

    What help me when I was struggling was putting pressure on the balls of my feet, less knee bend. I’m still struggling because it’s winter but thought I’d share

    Iron shots at the end looked so money. However, the burning question remains:
    How do the Galvins not have holes in them yet?

  • @franz289
    @franz289 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It's a struggle to transition to that modern swing. Deleting the muscle memory of the old swing will take some time. I sometimes find myself drifting back to it during a round without realizing it. But eventually is becomes second nature.

    everbody is commenting on the steepnes of your swing and the slight over the top motion.
    I just wanted to know why your mechanics changed so much. Did you have a injury that forced you to change? If you look at your swing 6 or 7 years ago it was much flatter and you rotated the body much faster through the ball. Was it a conscious decision? I wish you all the best!!!

  • @blarsen8
    @blarsen8 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you think you stand too close to the ball? It looks like your club path is a little out to in, maybe that's what you're going for. I don't know though, just an observation. Not trying to hate, your swing is nice. Good ball flight too!

  • @Contang0

    "57 golf drills in 9 minutes 53 seconds", by H. Flower :) Seriously though.. I like the 'don't over think it' comment, we're all different - work on what the physics of returning a golf club pointing at the target demands, with the least number of moving parts. Actual physical things, rather than ideas... eg, where do you want your hands at impact, what is the difference between address and that? What needs to happen to get into that spot? What fundamentally will make the ball go towards the target (and not 3 fairways wide with a 3 foot long divot)..? Not much else matters. Hope you had a great Christmas Harry, looking forward to following in 21.

    you are working on that over the top move?

  • @utameujoe
    @utameujoe 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Stop taking the club inside in the take away, way too inside, work to get the club outside in the take away and let him go down inside at the top of the swing by starting the downswing with youre hips, squat move a la Tiger, and be patient before firing the club, loose shoulder, let arms drop or flatening and you never get over the top again...hope this help! ;)

    Good work!!!
    I would prefer to see more exageration of the squatt move in the practice swing!!!
    In the real swing we should be able to see this squatt move (even in full speed)

    Love these range vids. Loved seeing you recover from bad shots. Are we trying for more of a body-centric swing. Same here 🇨🇦

    • @chavebomber
      @chavebomber 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Deffo trying for a body swing and getting all that weight to the left with the other drill. Still needs work but getting there. Nice that the swing is completing now on the follow through. But on getting in grass and an exact target is tricky part. Looks good though. I’d like to see the dispersion from a grass range in the summer with a trackman or a second camera at your target. Keep up the good work.

    When I watch you hit it like that mate at the range I find it hard to understand why you struggle so much on the course. I hope you stick with it this time looking forward to see what happens in 2021 🏌️‍♂️🤞👍

    Just my two cents, you don’t have enough lateral movement with your hips from the face on. I watched some older videos you have from the face and your legs just aren’t aggressive enough in the downswing. More push with the legs should shallow you out, you’re trying to shallow it with your hands but getting the club the shallow out is a byproduct of proper sequencing. Look at your right foot at impact, it’s flat. If there were more drive it would be rolling inward. Just my two cents, everything else is really solid.
