The lofi mixed with the sound of impact is a great way to watch. Very enjoyable
This is a seriously satisfying vid, love being able to watch the flights so clearly. The odd video again similar would be beaut
So much respect to you man. You keep grinding, can’t wait to see you play pro!
Also, currently 14 handicap, hopefully 9 by the end of this summer
Swing looks pure 👌🏻
I am no golf coach but you look much more in control when you’re swinging like this than sometimes on the course when you’re trying to smash a wedge 180.
Currently don’t have a handicap just playing different clubs when offers are on,looking to join a club next year 🙌🏻
Mate absolutely brilliant. I’m not gonna lie you’re so pure. The 3 woods that you striped man omg
Some lovely flights mate. Keep up the grind
Advice please. I think we have similar issues. Tendency to become wristy with in to out path thereby turning head over. Reliant on timing. Long clubs suffer. Looking at this I see you change in 7 iron to lock wrists more and then more neutral path. Less flipping. Same with driver. Any tips on correction thoughts ?
Immense swings 👍
When ball meets club face! Whooshhh! What a satisfying sound
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast!!
Swings looking good mate
Enjoying watching the improvement with the golf swing. Swing looks really solid with a great short game.
Cheers Andy, it's coming together
2:46 That's a bad ass moon.
Simple repeatable swing, makes golf easy eh👍handicap don't matter when you're competing🙋♂️🍻⛳ looking forward to your pro season!
The swing looks absolutely pure, really nice
I'm not sure but maybe the hands working a little on the inside on the left shots, but damn swing is bells good great work the hard work pays off
Playing off a 4 right now. Play three 18s a week and as much as I should, i dont have the patience to practice. Watching your videos though inspires me to take the time and put in the reps for next season. Keep up the great content man. Its brilliant.
The balance is pretty much perfect and probably a testament to all the hard work you put in at the gym. I think you have a good idea by now why it sometimes goes south on you. Usually the balance goes with it.
Coming back this upcoming season after a serious injury; before it I was a legit +1. After much rehab and practice the last couple of years I plan on jumping right back in the saddle; maintaining and improving.
your tempo is butter its something i need to work on but i get my ego comes into it wanting more distance. what are you carry numbers?
Not long took up golf with my work mates from hospital, and this is honestly such a beautiful video great filming. And what a swing mate! Instant sub to the channel!
You have a perfect swing I can imagine. Do you body-turn swing?? I am trying to master BT swing and I think yours is one of the best :)
Mate I'm a 21 HCP looking get to 15 (ambitious I know) I've only been watching your channel for a few months, I like your content and I'm even happier that as a blogger you have included ALL the shots, good and bad, too often we only see the good shots, and its nice to see that everyone can hit the ball left or right sometimes. Keep up the good work, good luck with the training!
This is the Rhythm I want... Question for you... What is the feeling too practise to drop the club on the inside before your downswing?
It's one thing that I appreciate about your swing sessions besides the session itself is your favorite choice of music.
Just curious, what clubs and shafts are you playing with in this video? Also, from the videos I get the impression that draw or push-draw is your stock shot.. Is that so, or am I just seeing things?
What causes your quick lefters? Flipping wrist?
Can’t wait for the new series man!Currently off 23, want to get to at least 18 by end of the summer. Only started in April so pretty happy with 23 to be honest. Mainly work on short game and learn how to shape shots a bit better to get out of trouble better
Do you ever spray your club face to see if your hitting toe, heel or central or can you feel this through your hands
Off -2 now want to get to -4 end of this year , only 17 so loads of time ! Powerful swing use that to your advantage james ! Looks good
So... you want to get worse?
Currently at 16, goal for the end of next season is around 5. Started working with a coach on a regular basis (4 times a month) two months ago and already seeing big improvements. How often do you practice in a week?
Also love your videos James keep up the good work! Cheers from Germany! ✌🏾
Looking forward to the vlogs you are planning. I have always enjoyed the ones you have produced so far. Started the year on 11 now on 14, so not a good year. I can usually play 14 decent holes and cock up 4. Problem is, I don't have the patience to practice, and my back won't let me. I don't even make a practice swing before each shot to save adding to the back strain. Hoping to reverse the trend next year.
Thanks for watching, I hope you get your back in shape Peter
Just a observation @ the top of your swing the hands let the club run on. That could be the reason the ball goes left. Strive for stoping the club when your turn stops like Rory. The rest looks mint.
I started about this time last year and was a 22 handicap and I'm currently a 9. I spent the last year working on my contact and and short game. I Driving distance was my downfall, so I resorted to using only irons until I felt comfortable and confident with the driver. Once I worked on my takeaway and swing mechanics, my scores improved due to the length off the tee. My goal for next year is to try to reach at least a 6/7
Love the video. Good to see that you're willing to let us see the bad shots too. Thought the 3 wood was going to end up over your knee! Why no alignment sticks?
Playing of 12 just love to play golf
Good luck on your venture James
Never give up
This is the best I’ve seen your swing James 👌🏻
Thanks Richard, not sure where it's coming from haha
James Wiltshire 😄
Great Ball striking here James. I started playing in June 2017 after playing hockey for 25 years. I was a hockey hacking 28 for a good few months. 18 this time last year. Currently 10 but recently had a PB round of 3 over. Aiming for scratch this year after hearing lot's about Golfers reaching their full potential within 3 years. Guessing that's average so not sure really. All a bit weird as I'm super positive and definitely addicted to Golf. Not sure how far I can take it as practice as much as I can (maybe once a week) only get to play once a week. Real tough working full time, constant DIY & 5 year old Twins 😂😂😂
Play off 3 and really want to get down to scratch next year. Plenty of hard work to do over the winter.
I've had a few mates do it this year, it's doable
@@JamesWiltshire hopefully i can do the same. Is there anything specific you are working on over the winter?
Looking really good mate. I’m off 16 and my goal is 10 for next year. Been having lessons and I quit my job to play golf every day. So hopefully won’t take long
im a 9 rn looking to get to a 5 by end of next season. gonna be putting in some simulator work this winter. couple golf trips mixed in there in nicer parts of the US. i have no problem shooting 75, its just a consistency thing for me. minimizing the severity of misses is gonna be the name of my game
Golf is tricky and very mental. I am currently a 5 handicap. Use to be a 3, then to many swing thoughts which dropped me to a 12 handicap. And well now trying to be a scratch golfer....range sessions make me try different swings everytime. #neverEndingStory. #TheLove4TheGame
Off 18.5 but have been practising a lot - hoping to push towards 10 or so this year
Great tempo on all of those swings. Keep grinding and I will see you on TV!
I’m 55 years old with a 13.4 Index. My goal is to lower my index to 5.0 and play in the US Senior Amateur this year and/or next year.
Looking good bro!
New shoes James! Keep these ones clean.
Handicap goal is to maintain a scratch... but make my score dispersion tighter. I'd rather be 68-74 than 68-79.
Currently an 11. Would like to get to 7 or 5. My putting and short game is really tightening up. I feel I lose the most strokes to par 3's. I feel that once I get alot more GIR's, with realistic birdie attempts on par3's then I can drop more off the handicap.
Good Stuff mate, hope nothing serious going on behind the scenes, have a great Christmas.. Currently a scratch golfer but unlike yourself I am happy to crack the 260 barrier off the tee at this time of year. There lies my goals, I'll be in touch 😉👊
Currently 17 aiming to be around 5, any tips bro? Hopefully you accomplish your goals 🤙.
You have the prettiest form in my opinion even better than a lot of pga players. I started not so long ago so I dont know much but im trying to model your form =)! Thanks for the video~
Currently off 1.6, hope to get into the + range next year! Need achieve more consistent swing mechanics and sink more putts.
just wondering what shoes are you wearing? those are nice
Some big pull hooks there!
Off a 10 right now want to get down to 7 or lower. Going to try and play more I feel like I have all the tools to play better golf just need the rounds to get them all into practice.
Currently playing off 9. Only started playing again this lockdown for the first time in about 3 years. Hoping to get down to 4 by the end of the year
I play off 1 and like to turn pro in 2021. Big fan of your swing!
@James Wiltshire I can tell the Hzrdus yellow shafts in your woods are not a good fit for your swing. You need more weight low at your swing speed and strength. The Yellow hzrdus is counterbalanced. Which will swing weight out lighter. Look more into the evenflow black range or diamana whiteboard
am off 15.8 rn, goal is a 12 phc, will do this by playing moer regularly and working on club selection/course management
Great video mate looking forward to the rest. Currently 2 cards away from getting my handicap. I managed to jump in with a group at dainton but have no one who has a handicap who I play with. My course record is 79 but average I get 82-86
I play off 11 and have for 3 years and not come down found it very frustrating I was playing off 8 at my best but have gone backwards 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ but not all hope is lost had a lesson with Andy proundman on Tuesday night and feel like we had a huge break through all to do with wight distribution through my feet 🦶 that was effecting my ball striking massively . The plan is to work my butt off and get to 7 with help from Andy and people like yourself James who make these videos on TH-cam that make me want to work harder but also keep it real about just how hard golf is sometimes. All the best for next year I truly hope you smash it as I think you are a very exciting player with loads of talent keep up the great work and merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family 🎄🎄🎄🎄👍🏻
Good luck with your goals mate! Merry Christmas to you and yours as well 👍
Handycap Goals, last year went from 6-9, was hoping to get to 12 this year as my mates are all bandits, who sandbag their handicaps and sick of paying them out! 😃
Club has intelgolf computer system with live score tracking for comps, amazing how many of them have disastrous back 9's
What a swing!! 😍😍😍
I play a Shortcourse 18xpar three at the moment due to injury, will be going back to full course golf 2021, if all heals well, I am off1,8 there, when I left long course golf I was off 6.4, That translates to about 5 handicap
The motion reminds me a swing machine.^^
Great swing. Just be aware that you are rocking backwards a few inches at the start of your backswing.
If he pay attention to such a point, sure he'll miss the right point at the ball...
Perfect finish no mercy.
Last year with 1 year of training and lessons I went from 28 to 10.9. My swing changed drastically. This year is gonna be so about accuracy from 110m and in. Change my up&down ratio. And finding more fairways with driver an 3W. The. Goal for next year is to get from 10.9 to bellow 8. Year after that I want to go to a handicap bellow 5. My current training schedule is 24hours a week with 4 days of school and a job.
Sounds like you're on the right path and you have a decent plan mate
No grass driving ranges?
James .... I think you need to do a short game video because I think people don’t know the gorilla has a touch ..... long drive yes but you need to show your short game putting .... spot on lol 😝
these videos are sick
Need to get from 5.4 to below 4.5 but it’s starting to get very tricky now but just got to try and up and down everything
Im training by looking at this before going to sleep...and, Yes, when.i sleep the movement is going.to stick to my brain! And at coming days i am going to rip my drives seriously😼
Started playing this June, currently off 17 hoping to get to 5 or 6 by the end of summer 2020
Off 3- want to get to scratch
I got the shanks and quit 🤣
Hey James, what irons do you use
Callaway MB raw finish
Ok thanks!
How do you strike the ball so consistently, shot after shot, amazing.
If i’m at the range i only hit about 40% decent the rest average to rubbish🥺
Good luck on turning pro this year👍
i see ur wrist is cupped on the down swing that might have ur clubhead on the downswing too open and causes u to rotated it violently try closing it more so you dont need to rotate it as much to square the clubface handicap is 3 trying to get to 0 by the end of 2020 (doing the rotation only adds like maybe 1- 2 mph clubhead speed)
Glad to see I'm not the only one who smothers a few here and there haha just kidding man
Currently off 7, ideally down to 4 by end of year....3 shots sounds easy lol. Need to put the time in on the range. Only me holding me back though.
Playing off 13, aiming to hit 8 by the end of next season! Need to tackle the putter!
Not had a handicap for a few years but reckon I’m currently sitting about 10-12, joining a club this season and aiming for 8
Have a good season mate
I’m roughly a 20 handicap. I’m hoping to get to a single digit when I get a full bag fitting for 2020.
Best of luck dude 😎👍
샷이 너무 좋네요^^
어프로치 샷보고 도움이 많이 됐어요
굿!!
Would like to see that club further on the outside on take away.
Butter swing!
Anyone who has played those apex mbs will understand how well you strike the ball
In down-the-line view, place a 3x5 card vertically just touching his forehead. From the start of the backswing through impact his head is moving back away from the ball. I think that’s where his misses are coming from. Just a thought.
I’m off 12 with a goal of 8 by next year! Really going to focus on 100 yards - in. Short game!!
Man i wish I can hit like you. Wow.. pure as hell.. can you make a video to show us how to hit irons purely?
current handicap 27.Next year 18?
Swing is looking sooo pure 👌
Really want to get back to 11 index and compete in LD 2020 but I've been painfully faffed around by the coaching and injuries. Just need a solid learning base and I just don't know a damn thing anymore......
Get back on it mate!
James Wiltshire tbf that's a fair point. Being sat around like a wounded wuss isn't going to do anything 👍 I'll get on it. Have an awesome Christmas Gorilla you've earned it 👊
i havent got a hc ,played off 4 when i was a junior at minch with stuart little ,on the big comeback next year and hoping to get to single figures ,its a big challenge but im really up for it
mark webb .... Jesus your the same as me I quit and now I’m 35 returning lol 😂
@@stewarth794 i quit when i became a green keeper at minch when i was 18 .played very little golf since im 51 now but the swing is still good and been hitting a lot of balls and striking it well
mark webb salute you sir ... 😎👍 but if your ever angry I’d expect a pin to be 1 foot off a bunker 😊👍 lol
@@stewarth794 thanks a lot ,ive still got my old clubs aswell with a few newer additions that i found in a charity shop and a real old maxfli golf bag its very retro
mark webb is the green keeping job a hard thing to do ? I honestly respect it I’m glad your back playing same as myself where I live the coarse I started on almost closed ..... municipal obviously but it’s home to me ... 😎👍
At 4,6 atm, hoping to get to 1 this Season ✌🏽
Hey, what's the name of the first song ?
Swing looks like a taller Gary Woodland, very nice
i’m 15 years old and play off 12 i am captain next year and hoping to get down to 8 keep up the good work james
Have a great season mate
I play off 8 currently but invested in a home simulator and practice everyday now, so I hope to get down to a 3 handicap by the end of 2020.
The Art of GNAR where do get them from and how much
I am 14, currently off 15 and want to try to get to single figures sometime next year💪🏼⛳️
Hello folks, just wanted to mention that my handicap is 5.8. I am very proud of it but am having trouble keeping a good mental game. Any tips are much appreciated
Out in the dark grafting when everybody else is watching Eastenders.Well done pal.
