    I copped a bit from a Gympie Gympie plant heading to the falls. Luckily there is Cunjevoi plants in the area to help reduce the pain of the sting. I'm yet to do the Stinson wreck, but it's on the list to do at some stage. Good on you for giving it go.

      Thanks for the awesome feedback! We will give it another crack soon. TBH we weren’t 100% serious although when we do it next time we are going in fully prepared. Long sleeper shirt, long pants etc lol

    "Embrace the suck" =), Southern Lamington has heaps of Gympie Gympie... I would allow between 6-9 hours for this hike as it gets quite steep after turn off from the Larapinta trail. Hope you get there next time even though there is very little left except some plaques dedicated to those who lost their lives.

      Thanks for the well wishes! Yeah that’s probably one part that makes us a little sad. We know it’s only plaques and that’s ok.
      Another on our bucket list is Mount Suberbus and the Lincoln as I’m told there is more left of that, have you hiked that one yet?

      @@OurWeekendAdventures the Lincoln wreck as lots more of the plane remaining, unfortunately no I haven't done that hike as of yet.
