Day 2 was moving day. We wanted to clock over some big klms so that we can chill tomorrow. Just over 800klm today and just over 1,945 klm in total. We are currently camped at Walkabout Creek Hotel where the movie Crocodile Dundee was filmed. It’s a bit smaller in real life! On to the Northern Territory tomorrow and north to Darwin. You can get a Sawyer Squeeze filtration for less than $90 Australian $$. It screws on to most water bottles and there are plenty sources of water along the trail.

@@OurWeekendAdventures Filming can become a drag at times. Fell and injured myself, and got paralysis tick to boot, last trip.
lol tick paralysis. I got a tick from Ships Stern at Binna Burra. I fell while filming (twice lol). I got home and was in the spa and I was like that’s not where my nipple is supposed to be! Just lucky it wasn’t on me long enough to cause an issue.
This was simply beautiful experience, what a wonderful presentation my friend!

I copped a bit from a Gympie Gympie plant heading to the falls. Luckily there is Cunjevoi plants in the area to help reduce the pain of the sting. I'm yet to do the Stinson wreck, but it's on the list to do at some stage. Good on you for giving it go.
Thanks for the awesome feedback! We will give it another crack soon. TBH we weren’t 100% serious although when we do it next time we are going in fully prepared. Long sleeper shirt, long pants etc lol
"Embrace the suck" =), Southern Lamington has heaps of Gympie Gympie... I would allow between 6-9 hours for this hike as it gets quite steep after turn off from the Larapinta trail. Hope you get there next time even though there is very little left except some plaques dedicated to those who lost their lives.
Thanks for the well wishes! Yeah that’s probably one part that makes us a little sad. We know it’s only plaques and that’s ok. Another on our bucket list is Mount Suberbus and the Lincoln as I’m told there is more left of that, have you hiked that one yet?

TBH I’m not sure, we haven’t done full Barney yet but based on what we have seen I think it’s steeper but not as high. Anyone else here done both?

This hat head park is one of the most beautiful places in the world. This is a place where a person can get the highest tough with nature and its beauty. The Sound of the ocean, the waves coming to the shore, the grass all these will take any person to get a tough to heavenly beauty.

Hat Head was named after the headland which, not surprisingly, looks like a hat.
