The first one had a sense of "oh fuck, that's gonna be tough." While this one has the vibe of a stronger Zero, something along the lines of "alright, let's do this."
First one has a vibe of "What the hell are these things, oh shit oh no", whereas this one has a vibe of "I've had an entire game of practice, bring it on, you got nothing on me"
That steel beam smash makes me feel like Zero is fighting in a jail corridor against a maverick who is a escaped inmate there, while rest of the inmate mavericks inside their cells are banging their jail steel beams out of craze & excitement of the fight.
@@lucarius2810 LMAO this reply made my day. I can just imagine Zero breaking out & proceeding to Slash the shit out of the Warden after recovering his Z Saber
I think a more creative use for this theme would be a special boss theme for the 4 guardians, and have the stage music keep playing during mini bosses.
Xander.ExE I don't remember exactly when or where it was used, but it was for some sort of miniboss, don't forget I said "if I remember correctly" so I may be wrong.
@@cloroxhammer3289 But Crash I and II sound like they are pretty bad. I has its respect, but II sounds like they were just getting lazy and tried to make it sound better by adding a few instruments. Don't even get me started on crash III, it sounds nothing like previous crash themes. Crash IV actually feels like its going to Pump you up for a fight, and gives vibes of "This is a pretty Tough battle, can I come out on top?"
@@guardiancagnazzo3125 No, that's where Crash IV fails. It doesn't try to add anything until the very end and feels very flat, while the first two themes were evolving the further they went, which made for a more sinister effect.

Honestly sounds like they just added the following:
-a banjo
-smashing a wrench into a steel beam
-funk guitar

@@pkmntrainerred4247 the banjo sounds awesome too like some devil went down to georgia kind of awesome
@@pkmntrainerred4247 considering the game, chances are it would be Zero breaking out and duking it out with the warden

I love how they aesthetically transition this game from that of the first to the second within this level.
They even used the Zero 1 menu UI with damaged wornout look

3*
phantom is dead
This is the main reason why you should fight Mega Scorpia with just lemons.
EX skills are a pain to get in Z2, you're better off idling in the menu or using the Legacy Collection's music player.
What sucks is that this theme was only used twice, if I remember correctly.
Mega Mayo I only remember it being used once (Vs Mega Scorpio the intro boss). When was the other time?
Xander.ExE I don't remember exactly when or where it was used, but it was for some sort of miniboss, don't forget I said "if I remember correctly" so I may be wrong.
It got used for the train level, when the cargo is being taken away
Wasn't it used for the guardians battles?
GrayFoxHound9 nah Strong Will (Z2’s boss theme) played for the guardians
Man, they just kept trying to add onto this song, but in the end, the original was the best still
Agreed, the original kicks ass.
No, just no. Crash IV is the best and kicks the original's ass.
@@guardiancagnazzo3125 Crash IV sounds way too repetitive, Crash I and II have a more pumping build up and a sense of dread that won't let go of you.

0:47 i love that part
and thus, the chorus was never heard again.
still a pretty good remix of crash though
This is such a fun theme.
Better Than Like A Nobihaza Theme
i feel like the chain rod charge attack could've been better, like it extends futher and do more damage instead of the triple rod charge attack.
You thought it was a miniboss, but it was me, Carryarms!
from here, the crash themes are always better in the games than in the remastered tracks.
somahiru I agree with that. also with boss appears and the warning sound.
I love that funky guitar so mucy
its awesome but is sill not better then the old one
No
Ummm... this is only for the intro boss, Mega Scorpia (or is it Mega Scorpio?).
Маркус Маракассон No, the stage music keeps playing during all mid-boss fights and in Neo Arcadia all the golems use the normal boss music.
+alienspacebat It also plays when you're protecting the supplies on Panter's stage.
+alienspacebat scorpia is zero 2, mega scorpio is mega man x7
Mysterious Maximus what mess?
Mysterious Maximus I don't care. I like X7
crash II is the best version for me, IV comes in 2nd then I and finaly III.
my facorite crash of them all, just a shame is so underused, i cant even hear the full song in normal gameplay.
the best version of Crash
Sorry it's Z1
Thank you !
J
This is even better then the Z1 version in my opinion.
Wish you could hear this more
Remix of the first game's boss. Appropriate
They...they turned it into party music...
Reminds me of Juggernaut’s theme from MSH
Fighting for the future of Humans and Reploids...
Upholding the vision of your lost partner X...
Battling deadly robots ?? what fits into this...
SCREW MMZ1 CRASH @U@ INSERT PARTY SONG!! .... :|
mmm this is awesome :)
It remembers to me Infinite Battle theme from Sonic forces
Reploid Remixes Crash use this version
Better than the original
Nah
