My statement was more out of excitement of an "aha!" moment, not as a way to discredit the composer. As for music sounding similar, that's always been a prevalent conundrum in art, but isn't always a bad thing or a consequence of one artist ripping off another. Maybe Yamada was unknowingly inspired by Mitsuda's work, maybe it was a homage, or maybe it was just a coincidence? I doubt it was an intentional rip and the song is still entirely his own.

It conveys the tension of the whole scenario perfectly(X is gonna die if you don’t hurry up), while also reflecting the scope of the stage as a whole(the “heart” of Neo Arcadia, where X’s body lies dormant. You can see buildings in the background of the tower you’re in.).
The intro beat to this track basically seems like it's sampled from Excelsior - DOA2 ost. I played a stage in the game and thought someone was playing zero 2. Interesting, wonder if people from Inti liked the game. Both are Ice stages, too.

That is simply incredible.

I find this theme both relaxing and invigorating. It's one of the most well-done tracks on Zero 2, I'd say.
