- Hey Gang! Well, I managed to put together a little video of some recent pickups over the last month or so! I found a cool old-school video rental store and scored a few cool tapes. Watch this video to see what I found while out-and-about!

Seeing those Canadian DVDs with the bilingual covers had made me weirdly nostalgic for the early '00s - back then there was a lot of films that still hadn't been released yet here in the UK, I had a region-free player and a bunch of imported US/Canadian DVDs. (Often it was actually cheaper to import US/Canadian discs than buy UK ones, which seems crazy now.)
Ah that's so interesting! I don't mind the bilingual print but I think a lot of American collectors don't like it!
THEY IS A GOOD MOVIE
OK cool to hear that - I wasn't sure as I don't really here people talk about it at all..
THE GUEST IS A GREAT MOVIE..
Love that movie!
I saw Wes Craven Presents They on Thanksgiving day 2002. I remember I did a double feature with Die Another Day. I remember They not really making any sense. I love Belle De Jour. I also like The Rage: Carrie 2 (Great revenge scene) Although the film really doesn't give Amy Irving much to do.
I never hear anyone mention "They" and I usually find that means they're not great movies but I'm willing to give it a try. On the flipside it seems more and more people mention "Rage" so I'm super curious about it. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I see in the background that you have the sleepaway camp dvd set. The version with the red cross on it is very rare and expensive now. I have the same set and they had to change the art work after a short print run because of the red cross
Yes that's right! I got it for $75 which I thought was a pretty good deal.
@nightowlvideoreviews I bought mine many years ago at a store called Suncoast that doesn't exist anymore. I never thought it would end up being as collectible as it is
The Rage wasn't bad! Stephen King based movies are hit or miss with me, but that sequel seemed to be it's own story instead of a boring remake. Recently impressed with the Dark Tower movie, and I just got a $1 copy of Castle Rock (season 1).
Ok awesome! It's in my pile of "things to watch" so I'm psyched to watch it! I actually loved "Castle Rock"!
