Same omg Her videos are the only ones I’ve found where I can actually stand to watch the whole thing and I can actually process what is being said. I’m not even looking for book recs anymore because my TBR list is like 200+ already but I can’t stop watching her videos because her voice and talking speed and just the inflection with the speed makes my brain go BRRRR. It’s like that fancy ADHD font to make you read faster but in audio / video form
The way you describe books makes me feel like I'm on Facetime with a friend dishing about the books we love. Your reviews are simultaneously captivating and deeply insightful. I am so glad we can get your thoughts in a longer format!
2:23 My Dark Vanessa 3:52 Seven Days in June 5:53 The Office of Historical Corrections 8:04 Legendborn 9:54 Know My Name 11:17 Betty 13:12 Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow This was great!
AAH IM HONORED! I found you on TikTok and I’m enjoying your channel so much. Thanks for highlighting my comment, I hope it came across as helpful for people instead of a way to avoid rambling (the way you talk is perfect, so entertaining and well-paced). Have a good day!
the way you describe books in such a detailed yet not fully rambling way is awesome and i aspire to be like you when thinking abt the deeper meanings and really digging into the books i read and love! will be reading every single one of these recs
Reading Tomorrow & Tomorrow & Tomorrow changed my brain chemistry. I've never felt so bonded and entwined with characters which is a testament to how well and real they were written. Reading this book made me cry so hard and I will recommend it to anyone who will listen, forever.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I miss these characters all the time. I was just saying to my boyfriend that I am thinking about re-reading it (I rarely ee-read books). And I read it just a few months ago for the first time! It’s so, so good. 💕
i literally adore your tiktoks and i am so excited for your youtube channel!!! i showed my parents the divorce tier list series and we all think it’s such a fun way to discuss romance!!!
I believe Reading is not just enough". Take the action! Put your newfound knowledge to use. I read for a long time but Action made my life change in no time ( generally and mostly financially) That's my two cents on this
I struggle to follow through, especially financially. I earn quite enough but hardly have a saving. Rent, bills, debt, expenses take it all away. It almost feels like I leave paycheck to paycheck
Live below your means, Adjust your lifestyle, be frugal in spending don't buy unnecessary stuff, Budget your spending and your debts, Save, Invest it's a better way to grow wealth, get a financial expert to help you.
Just found ur channel and u can’t imagine how sad I was when I realized ur new and only have 10 videos!!! Ur so fuckin funny girl and relatable (as someone else who is also a PJO gifted child to never reading again pipeline) and I can’t wait to see more of ur content! I’m getting back into reading this month actually after not reading since 16 (I’m 21) after a diagnosis of migraine syndrome, and I’m loving this community and def gonna binge ur content 🤍 keep it up girlie
I saw the TikTok you made teasing your favorite books and directing people to your TH-cam and decided to go ahead and watch. Ironically, I had pulled up TikTok because I had just started Legendborn and the print was so small it was hurting my eyes. Yes, I am a 50+ yr old woman reading a YA book, take that as you will. Thank you for this video. It made me decide to go ahead and read the book even tho it may be my last since it will possibly blind me with its tiny print. Keep doing what you do, you’re amazing at it!
I haven't seen you on tiktok before (possibly because I try to stay away from booktok, I hated some recs) but I am absolutely loving this type of energy, it's hyper but not forced, looking foward to seeing more from you!
The way you describe books is just so incredible. I can feel the love you have for these books through the screen. I added every single one (that I haven’t already read) to my to-read list.
we have the same mood reading style!! I have a thriller, romance, fantasy, and middle grade going on at one time just so my brain can compartmentalize everything and I don’t go mad.
A testament to how good Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow is, and how real these characters feel…I’m notorious for starting books and not picking them back up for a while. I finished this book in two days. I couldn’t stop reading. Interestingly, when I finished, I told myself it was kind of underwhelming and that while I really liked it, I didn’t love it. Sam and Sadie’s relationship never panned out how I expected it to. But as days went by, I was still thinking of the story and I even started to miss the characters. And then I got a hankering to read it again. I think the longer you let this one cook in your brain, the better it gets. Definitely added to one of my recent faves now, for sure
There is something about you and how you just described these books that made me want to read every one of them. I'm picking up Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow as soon as I get paid! I'm so ready to get fully back into reading again :')
When you described yourself as a “Jack of all trades”, I immediately subscribed! I love reading all sorts of genres, but I feel like most booktubers only ready fantasy and romance.
Love this so much. The chaotic ramble is everything. I feel you on the mood reads… I have to break up the genres so I satisfy the consistent bouncing around in my brain! 😅
I’m so happy you have a TH-cam! I watched your TikTok’s, and you made me buy None Shall Sleep, and I’ve never been pulled out of a reading slump so fast! I literally recommend it to all my friends in slumps.
i’ve been obsessed with your tiktok for a while and follow you on goodreads! i relate so hard to the getting back into reading after adhd gifted kid burnout. will be watching ur content religiously i love ur takes
first time watching you and the fact that tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow is on this list is the reason i shall swear by your book recs forever from now on :')
"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" hands down was one of my best reads last year, probably a life long favorite now. So glad you liked it too !! I need to read all your other faves now !!
It’s been months since I read Betty at your recommendation and I truly do not understand how more people aren’t talking about it. The story shook me to my core and broke my heart. ❤
The speed and efficiency that you speak in is so satisfying. Also it's kind of incredible that you are able to be so compelling while speaking so fast, I could never lol
Just finished Office of Historical Corrections on your recommendation and I have to thank you. It’s brilliant and I can’t wait to recommend it to anyone who’ll listen! 💖💖
I adore your TikTok, and like every book you had on this list that I’ve read. Adding Betty to my TBR immediately! Also, I feel like you would love Station Eleven if you haven’t already read it?
I just finished tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow because of your recommendation and oh boy was I in awe and tears numerous times throughout the experience. Just wanna come on here and thank you for bringing up this book. There are two specific chapters (which I’m not going to spoil for the rest of us, don’t worry.) towards the end that had me absolutely shook and in love to my core. How they were constructed and delivered was phenomenal and pure art. The characters, although at times I was like “damn you shouldn’t have done that..!!”, but I was always able to understand and respect why they did so, which was character design and development at peak, in my opinion. To be at sympathy but also to be at personal judgment, was what got me emotionally devoted to these characters and the story. Again, thank you so much, and I definitely going to read Betty at some point in this year as well. Much love :)
I understand what you mean in your disclaimer. I read when I was younger. Then you get to junior high, high school, and college & reading as an extracurricular takes a backseat to the mound of reading for class. With the pandemic, I picked up reading again. Nice to know there are others out there. 😊📚
i’m so so so so excited for this channel !!! i constantly go to your tiktok account for recs and i’m so happy that you have another platform that allows you to talk more in depth
I love your channel I’ve basically binged all of your videos since I found your channel. My Dark Vanessa is also a top book for me and I can’t even adequately explain how much it touched me. ❤
I love that you have a TH-cam channel now! I love this video and will definitely begin reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow because it sounds like everything I love in a book and your view on it makes me even more excited to read it!
I love you like the way that you explain books and the plots and stuff is so amazing and makes me feel so warm and cozy like I want to get coffee with you and just listen to you talk about books
I just want to say that we have the exact same taste. I usually give away the books that I read (I unfortunately simply do not have the space, and I gotta keep some shelf space open for the new books!) but I keep the ones that I want to go back to. Betty, The Office of Historical Corrections and Tomorrow&Tomorrow&Tomorrow are three of the maybe 10 I have held onto. Immediately bought legend born after watching this because your recs are *chefs kiss*
You have absolutely impeccable taste 👌 My Dark Vanessa and Legendborn are also all time favourites for me! Also thank you for giving a couple of examples of synopses for The Office of Historical Corrections, I wasn’t really sure what it was about or the context of the stories before you explained them and now it’s on my five star predictions list. I recently bought Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow as well and I think that’s going to be a favourite. Really excited to see more content from you, I’ve followed your TikTok as well ❤
Hi!! I follow you on TikTok and I love your series of judging the relationships in romance novels on how long they’d last. I also really loved seven days in June, and I have the office of historical corrections and as soon as you started talking about it, I moved it up on my TBR
I’m so excited to see you’ve made a TH-cam. I recently discovered your TikTok and the way you talk about books is so comforting and fun at the same time.
I love your TikTok’s so much, so I just had to come to your TH-cam and see. The only reason I prefer your TikTok’s more is because of how faced paced they are. The amount of happiness I gain from you is astounding, You are so good at engaging your viewers and I feel like your talking directly too me. You recs are so good as well and I can’t wait for more videos!
you should give the book “the rest of us just live here” by patrick ness! it’s such a great, simple book with a sort of funky backstory happening whilst you read
LOVE your TikTok book recs! So glad to see you doing TH-cam now. I recently purchased Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and can’t wait to read it. Excited to see more of your videos ❤
I also try to alternate between genres as I’m reading so I can keep them separated in my head. I can’t even binge a whole series together. They have to be separated by at least one book that is as different as possible.
sorry if this comes across as weird or anything, but you’ve become such a comfort BookTuber for me and I love putting your videos on while putting on my makeup
the part about YA being able to handle more mature topics is so true! I work in the youth section of a library and I read a lot of YA. it’s so different from when I was a kid
Dude, your description of gifted kid book burnout was so scary accurate for me, down to the specific books! Like. I loved Percy Jackson as a kid too, and then really vibed with A Tale of Two Cities, which I also read freshman year? And then my capacity for reading also ended up dropping off for a while??Like???
As someone with adhd, I love how fast you speak and how you explain things and it makes my brain feel so good. 😂
Same!!!
YES! I didn't have to do the 1.5x again!
This!!! 😂
Same omg

AAH IM HONORED! I found you on TikTok and I’m enjoying your channel so much. Thanks for highlighting my comment, I hope it came across as helpful for people instead of a way to avoid rambling (the way you talk is perfect, so entertaining and well-paced). Have a good day!
I love you
After the ranking odds of divorce series I feel it’s mandatory to subscribe, I place all of my book rec faith in you 😤🙌
im so glad this exists now. I've binged ur tiktoks (more than once) and there are longer versions now!!!
the way you describe books in such a detailed yet not fully rambling way is awesome and i aspire to be like you when thinking abt the deeper meanings and really digging into the books i read and love! will be reading every single one of these recs

i’ve never heard anyone put the genre hopping habit into words so well before
Seven Days in June is probably my favourite romance and I’ll literally never stop recommending it
i literally adore your tiktoks and i am so excited for your youtube channel!!! i showed my parents the divorce tier list series and we all think it’s such a fun way to discuss romance!!!
one of the first times i’ve actually wanted to read all the books mentioned. you explain them in such a compelling way.
lexi go crazy!!!! i am now inspired to consider reading the 30+ unread books on my shelf
I believe Reading is not just enough". Take the action!
Put your newfound knowledge to use. I read for a long time but Action made my life change in no time ( generally and mostly financially)
That's my two cents on this
I agree with 100%
Action makes it work, no matter how little start and see the results come by.
Thanks
I hear hiring a financial coach is quite expensive but I will have a look at it.
Omg your description of books taking space in memory is so accurate

I'm so excited to have a longer video from you ❤❤❤
This video was so good. I'm glad you're able to transition from TikTok format to TH-cam!
I love your talking speed ahaha, this is perfect to keep my concentration
literally 90% of these were already on my tbr and now you’ve just bumped them all up so significantly thank you 🫶
The way you describe books is just so incredible. I can feel the love you have for these books through the screen. I added every single one (that I haven’t already read) to my to-read list.

The editing, the vibes, everything was great 💕 I also added some books to my tbr
I feel like you have completely reintroduced reading for me xD you’re doing amazing!!
I’m so happy you made a TH-cam! It’s giving Caricanread meets Gilmore Girls speed talking and I’m heeeeere for it.
Love this so much. The chaotic ramble is everything. I feel you on the mood reads… I have to break up the genres so I satisfy the consistent bouncing around in my brain! 😅
I like your explanations on books! I’m glad you started making youtube videos!

I’m so glad “My Dark Vanessa” is on your list too I don’t see it very often. It’s one of my top three favorites for sure. I love your content🥰
Seven Days in June is such an amazing romance read!
I relate so much to your experiences as a reader and ur taste. Looking forward to watching ur channel grow! 😁
i’ve been obsessed with your tiktok for a while and follow you on goodreads! i relate so hard to the getting back into reading after adhd gifted kid burnout. will be watching ur content religiously i love ur takes

"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" hands down was one of my best reads last year, probably a life long favorite now. So glad you liked it too !! I need to read all your other faves now !!
I love that you read a variety of books. It is so difficult to find someone that reads a variety. You got my sub.
It’s been months since I read Betty at your recommendation and I truly do not understand how more people aren’t talking about it. The story shook me to my core and broke my heart. ❤
Instant follow I love your energy. You also are the only person who has convinced me to read tomorrow
The speed and efficiency that you speak in is so satisfying. Also it's kind of incredible that you are able to be so compelling while speaking so fast, I could never lol
I feel so so so so so so SO seen and I'm not even three minutes into this video. 😂 Just how you describe what genres you read and why. 👌🏻 Perfection.
so happy to see your videos in a longer format!!!
I just finished reading My Dark Vanessa and oh em gee. I can see why it’s one of your favorites. Absolutely loved it! 5⭐️’s for sure.
Love the longer content! Also hi from another burnt out former gifted kid who went from reading a book a day to reading nothing for like 5+ years 😂
Just finished Office of Historical Corrections on your recommendation and I have to thank you. It’s brilliant and I can’t wait to recommend it to anyone who’ll listen! 💖💖
So happy that you have a TH-cam channel!!!! Thrilled actually. I trust your opinion on books more than any other human
I checked twice to see if the video is being played fast forward 😭
Love the way you explain books tho🫶
I adore your TikTok, and like every book you had on this list that I’ve read. Adding Betty to my TBR immediately! Also, I feel like you would love Station Eleven if you haven’t already read it?

Idk who you are and why you haven’t shown up on my FYP but I’m here for the long haul and the fast talking. 🙌🏻
I don’t have TikTok but I was recommended this video! I can’t wait to watch more from you ❤️
I love you like the way that you explain books and the plots and stuff is so amazing and makes me feel so warm and cozy like I want to get coffee with you and just listen to you talk about books
I really enjoyed this video, but the pacing most of all. I didn’t have to adjust the speed at all and I really appreciate that.
I came from your TikTok and I’m excited about all the books you suggested! I’ll be picking up Know my Name for sure. And probably the others soon 😂
Alsooooooo I just get excited about people talking about Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow haha. I might have to reread it
I just want to say that we have the exact same taste. As a lover of your chaotic tiktoks of course I had to come follow you over here because I need more of it in my life in longer videos 🥰😊
I absolutely love your TikTok’s and am so excited to get longer versions of those videos!!
so happy you started a channel! Love your tik toks xx
I've been religiously watching every tiktok you make and intend to do so with every TH-cam video. Love every bit of your content
This just bumped up some books already on my TBR!
I feel like we have the same reading style and I’m very happy about that!
I love your TikTok’s so much, so I just had to come to your TH-cam and see. The only reason I prefer your TikTok’s more is because of how faced paced they are. I love tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow it’s engraved in my brain
so excited for long-form content from you!!!
you should give the book “the rest of us just live here” by patrick ness! it’s such a great, simple book with a sort of funky backstory happening whilst you read
LOVE your TikTok book recs! So glad to see you doing TH-cam now. I recently purchased Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and can’t wait to read it. Excited to see more of your videos ❤

Dude waking up and finding out that this channel is now a thing? Best way to start my day! ❤️
I seriously could listen to you talk about books for hours. Please keep doing this. Thanks. 🤓👌🏻
I love your TikToks and I’m beyond excited that you’re posting longer videos! Instant subscriber!!
Tomorrow x3 should be on everyone's all time favorites list. I read it the month it came out too and it still lives in my head every day.
This is a nugget of gold that I didn’t know i needed thank you
the part about YA being able to handle more mature topics is so true! I work in the youth section of a library and I read a lot of YA. it’s so different from when I was a kid
I'm so, so excited that you are on YT! Booktok is nice but I really prefer TH-cam for book things!
Long form book content is something I didn’t know I needed until now
i love your vibes thank you for the longer content!! 🥰
I love listening to you rant about books, even when I disagree cause toure still charming 😊
So excited you’re on TH-cam. Just binged all the videos 😂
I love how I will probably end up reading alot of these books now after how good you described them 😂
Dude, your description of gifted kid book burnout was so scary accurate for me, down to the specific books! Like. I loved Percy Jackson as a kid too, and then really vibed with A Tale of Two Cities, which I also read freshman year? And then my capacity for reading also ended up dropping off for a while??Like???
Im so happy this came in my recommended because I love your tiktoks 🥰
Know My Name is such a powerful read. I had to pause several times when reading it because it made me so emotional.
