Update: Poppy broke the contract with Titanic Sinclair, and also filed a lawsuit saying that Titanic also abused her physically and mentally.
Now, Poppy has made her own songs with her own style and sounds, she is touring some countries (mostly in the USA) and many fans admire her, now she is happy with no one to press her
Mars Argo has made an appearance with a "new" song called Angry (I put the word "new" in parentheses since the song had already been leaked years before), also, they changed the name of the channel from "grocerybagdottv" to "shouldicleanmyroom" .
With this, she implies that she has planned a comeback with more songs and videos, and all of her fans are eagerly awaiting it.
And speaking of Titanic... he keeps uploading "his style of him" videos of him and songs as well, but these don't get as many views and he only has a small portion of fans who continue to support him.
So far my report, and also another curious fact:
Speaking of situations where Mars Argo was mentioned in Poppy videos, there is a video where Poppy uses the phrase "eveything is going to be a-okay" and a Mars Argo song is called "a-okay"
Curious fact that I hope you like it, I invite you to support Mars Argo and Poppy, neither is to blame for what has happened, the only culprit here is Titanic, who manipulated both of them.

Since this came out in Oct. 2019... Here is an update on what happened since. Poppy sided with Mars. "Poppy later retracted her accusations towards Argo following her public split from Sinclair in December 2019, and alleged that she was a victim of the same psychological abuse Sinclair had inflicted on Argo."

now I want to see if you caught up with this story. Poppy ended up doing the same thing and split from Titanic and claimed he groomed her, manipulated her and physically and mentally abused her. She took her Poppy persona, dyed her hair black, donned a goth-bjork look and started acting more like a human and less perfect AI. She and Titanic are not in contact with each other anymore which makes all the allegations actually look legit.
Insane how she didn’t even really want the money- she just wanted peace and to have the work that belonged to her back.
Her familys rich and disapproved of the titantic relationship off the start. She never did it for the money, titanic on the other handddd

Poppy is NOT DIRECTED BY TITANIC SINCLAIR ANYMORE she said he was controlling her and she had enough apparently they were dating to at one point and she suffered abuse from him too. At "best", Poppy was so traumatized by her relationship with Titanic Sinclair she became a bad person because of it. She broke up with him in 2019 yet released what appears to be a Mars Argo diss track in 2020. Whatever she was like before her relationship with Titanic Sinclair, she's still a bad person NOW.

I honestly don't give a shit about the background drama. Poppy's music is good so that's all I care for. And Poppy has become way more than what Mars ever was. Mars and Titanic just made some smaller stuff that was very simple and at this point, Poppy isn't even really like that anymore. Her videos are a lot more dark and her music has become pop metal.

I feel so bad for Mars Argo, Titanic cheated on her then literally ruined her career and life to the the point she had to hide and move away, leave all of her social medias and stop making music, all while he was mocking her with a replica showing how easily replaceable she was and how she needed him. like he blocked any opportunity she had to continue her career and tried to remove all her friends from her life, the thing she needed was to not have him in her life but yet he still thinks she didn't make it because she didn't have him... he needs serious help and I hope Mars is doing better now and healing. I will never support anything he ever does or has a part in creating

Sinclair was really fuckin creepy.The best way to describe him is a 'dollmaker' him and Mars break up. then he 'recreates' her using Poppy, but without her personality. Poppy was more robotic and lifeless, and Sinclair liked it that way. Then he goes on to abuse Poppy in somewhat of the same fashion. Its an extremely creepy story. Basically a 'real life' creepypasta. and maybe he went on to replace Poppy as well? I never read too far into it. Looking into the comments, it seems like he tried to at the very least.

Poppy is more herself now and does more metal esc type music and doesnt copy mars argos soft grunge esc music
chasethetuna Tbh with you, I don't think Poppy's whole gig was a ripoff. She was meant to be some sort of robot/illuminati puppet character. Mars was never trying to be that. I think most of the aesthetic similarities just come down to them both being directed by Titanic. Saying Mars did it better just isn't really a good equivalence. But that doesn't mean Titanic didn't try to abuse Mars through it, and Poppy knew that full well.

I have to completely agree with your perspective on Mars Argo's music. Plus, she was totally ripped off by everything, so good for you for honouring the woman behind the original music.
The issue i have with this girl was she enabled and helped participate with her abusive ex to stalk and harrass Mars Argo. They and their fans really harrassed Mars to the point where she had to hide and stop pursuing her love for music. Im glad that both girls made it out of those relationships with that abusive guy, but even to this day poppy doesn't have her own identity. She just copies whoever she associates with (ghostemane and grimes) and this will be her down fall.
