That is what I was thinking while watching this. Slazo was 16 and Chey was 14 at the time they were going out and they are going on about love and stuff..... wtf! They were gf & bf while in high school and early in high school at that (if both in the uk). It all sounds far too over the top and I hope if all her accusations are false, which they look mostly to be, that she gets her karma for almost ruining this guys name/reputation.

I know I did, alot of my friends did, it's pretty normal. Plus they really make the depression medication thing sound alot worse than it probably actually was, he said he wanted to get her to change to a different medication because the current one decreased her sex drive. When you're on a medication with a negative side affect and there's another option without the side effect it's pretty normal to think about swapping to that one. His motives behind it may have been perverse but I fail to see where his actions crossed the line to life ruining.

I think this is a possible example of a lack of communication in young relationships. When I was 16 I was in a relationship where I was pressured into doing a lot of sexual things and I was very uncomfortable with it (and actually developed severe pelvic floor dysfunction as a result which causes me chronic pain and other difficulties even years later). But I never actually said no, and I acted like I wanted it and I acted like I was happy with what was happening. But it was because I felt like my relationship and my ex boyfriends love was dependent on doing those things and that I wouldnt be a good girlfriend if I didn’t do it. So I can’t ever say I thought my ex was abusive or pressuring me, it’s just I didn’t feel safe enough to say that I didn’t want it and wasn’t ready. But I understand how he didn’t know because I actively tried to hide how much I hated what was happening. So while I do feel like I was pressured and violated, and have severe physical disabilities as a result of it, I am in a weird position where I can’t blame the person who did it to me. And I kind of understand the wanting to blame or portray the other person as an abuser because I deal with a lot of judgment and confusion and victim blamey stuff and just negative interactions with strangers and doctors and others whenever I try to explain my situation. And I know it would be easier if I had someone to blame

Major respect on sharing your story, I went through something very similar and I have never told anyone and I still feel ashamed of myself for my naivety at the time. It is a horrible feeling to know you don't have the right to blame anyone yet still have to live with the trauma and the consequences of what happened alone. I wish people would start focusing on teaching young girls or boys the true meaning of consent and self-respect, instead of making it a war against "the predators".

As a young adult currently I find myself in situations just like when I was a teen! You're so uncomfortable but you don't want to make someone unhappy so you just go with it. It's kinda sad that this is such a common experience for young women and teens.

it's hilarious watching this in 2024 with the allegations against allex...you were so spot on?! he is a narcissist (whether that is narcissistic tendencies or npd), who was trying to maintain a false image of himself as the best person ever, and in turn putting others down to lift himself up. coming from a borderline i can somewhat relate with his situation. while i do find the abuse to be horrific; i can see the motivation. i can see the insecurity. what i learned in dialectical behaviour therapy; a therapy constructed by a woman with bpd FOR other people with bpd, is that it's important to practice empathy. even if that is toward the worst person you know. i love having bpd because of the insight i have into what other personality disorders are like!

But I stopped following him maybe a month or two before all this even happened, because I noticed a change in his attitude that I didn’t appreciate. He became more condescending and aggressive.
