Система,как бы растворяется в пространстве комнаты. Вокал,как будто живой,звучит на высоте роста человека (160-180 см).Звук - трёхмерный, телесный - осязаемый, с хорошей локализацией образов и фантастическим эффектом присутствия. У тебя должно складываться впечатление, что ты сидишь в первых рядах, в зале,на концерте. Если на своей системе, ты ставишь джаз - авангард или классику,совершенно далёкому от этих жанров человеку, и у него через 20 сек.отвисает челюсть, то ты по праву можешь гордиться своей системой. Но, если твоя система не выдаёт такой звук,то значит у неё просто не хватает разрешения и тебе есть к чему стремиться... п.с.Голографический звук - это когда стена за акустикой, как бы исчезает и ты чётко видишь зал и фантомы музыкантов на сцене или в оркестровой яме.Такой вау-эффект,просто сносит крышу, даже у тех, кто к звуку вообще равнодушен. Голографию,можно вытянуть из записи,если только она в ней есть и система на это способна.Минус систем с высоким разрешением:Слышны все недостатки в записях,которых большинство.
Love how simple the entire room is. Cozy, classy, and elegant. If you could have someone move your speakers while you listen, I’d suggest moving them out about 2 inches at a time, and see if that sweet spot changes. If I help out friends or family, I do this for them very often. You’ll be completely shocked at how your system changes just by a few inches at a time. If you already know how to do that, then I’m sure you’re getting everything out of them possible. Again, BEAUTIFUL system! 👍🏻👍🏻

Nice system. I like how you've hidden the cables. That is a fantastic album on Vinyl too! It is overall smoother but without the super low bass (on Thanks to You) of the digital (Qobuz) version
Lovely! That poor table looks like its bearing some proper weight. Maybe an upright rack next to complete the system? But it is absolutely stunning, well done, enjoy it.
Yup that amplifier weighs over 100lbs but chair can handle 2-3 persons if used as chair so it’s pretty stable. I might consider putting the amplifier in a stand under the chair/stand
i listened to these in a shop, they do sound great. That said it's a very different sound than the Kanta 2 I heard and I do like that sound,. It's personal preference. Hopefully I will find something between the two in sound. Thje Olympica IIi is very musical and non fatiguing.

I too love simplicity. My own system ... Music Fidelity Encore. 500w of pure clean power... Dac w/solid state hard drive... CD transport... nD vinyl phono stage... Prospect 6x with hana ml cart and focal doors 3 speakers. Simple like yours but clean and magical. Beautiful and thoughtful set-up.
Still have the Encore? I purchased the same one a week ago- first time I shut it down and unplugged, it now powers up but won't turn on (no text). Any idea if there's a power-up reset procedure?
@@stevenbullock9276 it's a problem with the power board circuit. Mine was under warranty still. Fidelity fixed it. It also used to turn on by itself. It should have a light visible from the top flashing a code.
@@stevenbullock9276 also be sure and unplug the wi fi cable to then plug it back in then plug in plug in that power Cable see if that resets it. Try it more than once. If it still flashes a code when you look through the top it's the output board.

There's also a green LED on the front, left side that's on constantly. I may be wrong, but I thought I noticed both of these in the same state when it was working properly. Much appreciate your comment- I will forward the info along. The Encore sounded great for the short time it worked 🤨
Nice. Do you like his live concert, 2004 Greatest Hits Live. It is audio only but also on DVD. Damn that’s a great concert, all the musicians are exceptional. There’s also half a dozen nice tracks I like on his Memphis album.

I agree. Might be my favorite live concert. A perfect performance. I wish it was available on BluRay but even in standard DTS 5.1 audio it sounds wonderful.

What's your full setup? How do you like the tubes with the Olympicas? I have a pair of Olympica 2's powered by a C47 and mc275 mono blocks and at times think it's too soft.
The 3s are designed to perform as close as 30" from the wall. Per the manual and I have them setup that way and at the exact 8ft equilateral triangle of 8ft. No standing bass waves in the corner and as warm and clear as this video. In a small 200 sq/ft room on the short wall. Sometimes all the "rules" mean nothing. It's the right combo of equipment and how the room is treated. I have a friend with aboairvofvolympiva 3s shoved into two tight corners, right up to the wall, because that's all his wife allows--and they sound great. We pulled them out 6 feet in a 550sq/ft room and couldn't hear any difference. Higher end audio equipment just doesn't have the placement issues that lesser equipment has.
From the first note all I hear is the random bad reflections reverb in the room, which looks nice and all... but seriously... a door in the corner, all glass behind the speakers, zero absorption or broken surfaces on the walls and ceiling and giant TV of glass right at the right side first reflection point.
well it’s not a dedicated listening room plus I have to consider wife approval you know haha 😂 it’s a compromise. I will probably be installing some heavier drapes one day 👌
