Geoff had to learn to play the harmonica for a part in a Blues Brothers show in one of the big amusement parks earlier in his career. He said he had to practice it a little because he hadn't played it in a while, but it apparently came back to him pretty quickly!
Man of Constant Sorrow was also done by Geoff as a solo project. His voice is just getting better and better - and these videos take a load of effort and he does not have a huge team.
He did (deliberately) try to keep this one closer to the original than he would usually do - except for the vocals. He does all the instrumentation himself via his keyboard and different plug-ins, except this time,he really played the harmonica.
Kathy gave us an Easter egg on the shirts. The Numbers are from the telephone and spell each clone's name. L to R we have Jeff 05333, Geoff 43633, Daryl 32795, and Jeoph 53674. Jeff is reading a Johnny Case book. It was Geoff who did a cover of Man Of Constant Sorrow, not VoicePlay.

yes he hired an abandoned prison it was an extremely hot day and there was no air conditioning! It was filmed with just him and his wife Kathy. the guys on site wondered when the rest of the crew was going to turn up! Geoff and Kathy were the entire crew! ❤
Geoff splits himself up to sing each part of the arrangement he creates.. He creates the music on his keyboard, using plugins to get the different instrument sounds. The only people present to make this one were Geoff and his wife Kathy. The patrons listed are in the higher payment bracket, unlike myself :) He has many many patrons now. Geoff has also done Man of Constant Sorrow. solo.
I'm glad you did this - there are quite a few. Consider doing some of VoicePlay's minis/or shorts. Do 2 or 3 at a time. They did the Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
