I did a lunchables vs lunchly taste test a few weeks ago (I was not able to get the cracker lunchly) and for the pizza lunchly, the dough quality and pizza sauce tasted way better than lunchables but the pepperoni and cheese were indistinguishable. However my roommate and I disagree when it comes to the nacho set as I prefer the cheese from the lunchables whereas he prefers the cheese from lunchly. Though the sauce is much better in the lunchly. The nacho chips were indistinguishable. For all the hate prime gets, you do get more liquid in the prime bottle than a caprisun. The Feastables bar was just chocolate nothing special. The lunchly boxes were about 10-20 cents more compared to lunchables. TLDR I think people overplay lunchly’s role (even the people behind it as well) as the kits aren’t all too disimilar to lunchables while making better tasting changes to some of the recipes (lunchables salsa and pizza sauce is god awful). I think the kits are just supposed to be a competitor to an already established product and it’s role is nothing more. For it’s worth it’s not bad (still wouldn’t give my kid lunchly but I wouldn’t give them lunchables either).
