I think it is comical how she says "but banning words mean banning thought process and we have free will" but she wants to ban food which people from different colors eat?? Like how is THAT not restricting someone's free will??
I mean, I get it, she's old, alot of her ideas are outdated and I personally don't think there's anything wrong with wanting people to be vegan but you are literally okay with people saying slurs??? I like how ben added in the last line of the video "how do you tell a person who is trying to solve a problem that they are the problem?" That is clearly what the vegan teacher is. This video gave me a deeper insight in her mind, and I sympathize with her to a certain extent then I used to. I like her ideas too, but she has a long way to go if she really wants to make a change in this world.

As someone who doesn’t have an ed but struggles to eat hearing that comment pissed me off so much to the point I would have just left because it’s something you don’t say still like that about
as someone who struggles with bulimia, eds are NOT thinking disorders! its something serious and extreme, when you have an ed you really care about how you look, how ur body is, its not a joke.
I had an eating disorder for 2 years and I had just started recovering in 2022 and now i am fully recovered, but honestly the way this woman is acting and felling about eating disorders is completely insane. I give you a lot of credit for putting up with this behavior 😭. The way she picked out the stuff in the grocery store…. 💀🛒🛍️

I just watched the whole video and I gotta say:
• Ben was very respectful to her, even if she was pissing him off and making him feel all types of things. He was a good guest and to be honest, he didn’t shine her in a bad light, he didn’t say anything really rude about her, and didn’t try to push her as this big mean rude old woman.
• Mrs Kadie seems like she is a person who genuinely cares so, so much for the animals, and I don’t think she realizes that what she’s doing is wrong. She does realize that it immensely bothers people, but I think her perspective is that she has to be like this person who pushes people to the limits and offend people just to prove the point.
• This video was very well thought out, with almost no jokes, showing that Ben wasn’t trying to make a fool of her, or make fun of her at all.
• What I think is that Kadie seems like a misunderstood person who does drastic things to prove her point and feelings about being vegan, because she cares so deeply about the animals, which I can get. But it doesn’t mean that she should offend all sorts of people and make them feel uncomfortable and violated in any way.

Forced veganism is just a way of covering up and controlling anorexia.
I dunno if I would call it respectful... If Ben had voiced his inner thoughts she would've a. toned it down a lot b. refused to continue filming or c ( what I find most likely ) got into an argument with him... none of these things would've helped the video. It wasn't out of respect to her that he didn't voice them. If that was the case he wouldn't have posted this for everyone to see, including her. You can also tell by watching the video that she trusted him... One example is the part where she asks him to pretend that he found her the giraffe blanket thing. You can tell that she genuinely thought he would edit it like she had suggested. I'm not a fan of the vegan teacher. I love Bens videos. I found this video interesting. However, this was definitely a backstaber at the Vegan Teacher. A big one. Does she deserve it? I dunno. It's definitely going to blow up for Ben though....

Bro, same. I had a really bad relationship with food and gained way too much weight during a depressive spiral a few years back. This past year I finally fixed my mental state and I have been having an extremely difficult time finding the motivation to keep pushing myself to work out since my weight hasn’t started dropping. You don’t fix disorders by feeding them, you fix them by responding to them.
Ben looks so uncomftroble in this vid but he was still so nice and even helped the vegan teacher when she fell in the snow. Ben is such a nice person
