It works, but only for 1 day. When the fletchers go to sleep they teleport to their beds, breaking out of the box...

You can try covering the space around the bed with glass blocks and see if that helps.

My farmers won't toss the crops, when they are full, to the "hungry" villager...

The farmers only toss the crops at certain times of the day and only if the other villager has nothing in its inventory. Try waiting through the day to see if anything happens.

Yup! I've already tested it on java and can confirm that the villagers produce crops!
