Balsa Wing Ribs cut on the MPCNC (Mostly Printed CNC)

I used the MPCNC to cut some balsa ribs for a balsa plane a friend of mine and I planned on building.
The first cuts were a little rough around the edges until I figuered to lower the spindle speed and increase the feed rate. The dimensions were spot on, obviously!

The result looks great! Are you still using a dremel as your spindel?

Yes, I do. But I plan on upgrading to AMB spindle. But for now I will have to go with the Dremel. 😅

What software do you use to cut balsa on the MPCNC?

I use Estlcam for creating the tool paths and for Gcode generation.

Looks great. What do you use as a sprey adhesive?

Hey, I used the normal UHU spray adhesive 😊

@@Quadropus I will try that but i was tought over strong effect for thin plates like 1mm.

If you use the 3in1 spray adhesive you can apply the glue in a way that it is permanent, correctable or removable. It then depends on the time you let the glue dry before you put the parts together.
