In only 3 weeks I built the Merciless Blaster from Remnant II! I includes 250 LEDs, a functional trigger and sound effects! Super proud of it! Benni did as always and outstanding paint job and as so often it’s completely made out of EVA foam!

What's horrifying about it? It looks like a custom gun stock made from knotted wood: I think it looks great and I'm going to be going through the woods pile to see if I can't make a similar stock for my rifle!

You make everything look so quick and easy! I know that's a combination of practice and editing, but I am having some serious EVA foam struggles. Making a sphere that fits comfortably over my head (but isn't TOO big) has been a challenge. 😅
A cordless angle grinder with a sanding disk would be great for the starting shape. That's what I use.

For me, it strongly resembles the weapon from the 2022 game Scorn. Although there are differences, both color and shape are super close.

Great job as usual! I would have just used plastic from a 2-liter bottle for the gross glowy globby bit on the back, but I think the crystals did a much better job of making it look organic.
Have you seen the movie eXistenZ? This reminds me very much of the organic gun in that movie, though yours is much prettier.

What did you use to power that many lights for a reasonable amount of time?
Just a 4400 mhA lipoly battery! However, the code is very power saving as I'm using only a red lights with a pulsing animation. It could probably run for hours, but I didn't actually test it.
