lol. I’m the artist from the intro/ “copy paste”. I 100% agree, work on both eyes at the same time. Sometimes I get a bit excited and completely do one eye before the other, hence the copy paste to save my sanity. Plus it can be fun lol. Thanks for reviewing it! Hope you have a great day!
personally when that happens i take a photo/screenshot, flip it, and use it as a reference just so my brain better understands the shape of what to draw
i think I've used similar tricks before. i study art and i remember our teacher telling us this trick to transfer our drawings on another paper when we didn't have transfer paper at that time also this is completely unrelated but what one of my teachers said but if you want to test out changes for traditional artwork, you could invest in some tracing paper (which are usually transparent) and loosely sketch the concept to see how it looks like without making a commitment
that art style with the thick legs was really popular in 2020/2021, i really wanted it at the time. some people still draw like that obviously, and i think it’s pretty cute
8:10 Hanacue! I love her art videos! Her style is so beautiful! I wouldn't have thought that actually good, competent artist youtuber made tutorials will be shown here. Idk why, I'm used to only the randos being in these videos.
The name of the artist is @Hanacue, if you wanna check out. She also made a tutorial how she made the rest of the eye. She‘s a great artist😊 (and sorry, maybe my English isn’t very well😅)
6:16 I immediately knew it was a rose...BUT Sam trying to figure out what it is, reading through the comment section and then knowing that's a rose...I CAN'T🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
9:35 Here I am watching all Sam's videos at normal speed because of his silky smooth calming voice, wondering who on earth would betray this serenity by 2x-ing.
I think the problem with the graffite eye hack is that it completely ignores the shape of the head, aside from keeping you from being able to sharpen your skills. Great video as always!
You're right. I was thinking about scott pilgrim stuff (I watched the netflix thingy reciently) but there was something I didn't like about it. And then I remembered gacha life 😮💨
Sam I literally used to have the same exact cat shark plushie in the background. It brings back suppressed memories from when I lost both of mine rip Kakashi and Kiomi. 😭
i dont like the idea of flipping the artboard for complete symmetry , no one on the planet is completely symmetrical , its much more natural to have slight inaccuracies.
With the copy and paste in real life thingy I use it a lot but not on paper. I transfer it onto wood so I can cut out shapes and stuff on wood that don't look wonky. for example at school we had to make something out of wood and I wanted to make it Metallica themed so I used this to transfer the logo onto the wood so I could cut it out
i can appreciate that the bulk of these weren't even tutorials XD but shoutout to Hanacue at the end there! her art is fantastic, and she explains quite a lot in her vids. very helpful~
I have never heard the trick of drawing the upper lid on one side, draw the upper lid on the other, and so on to get draw symmetrical/accurate eyes. Gonna practice that at some point
I remember the art style being called alt artstyle, but alt art differs from person to person. I guess it could be a mix of chibi and alt, but i'm not really sure
I watch all my videos at 2x speed, because it's far more efficient, and gives me so much more time to do other things. It's actually a great lifehack...
I love Sam's content- he's so supportive and funny. Anyway, with the drips thing, I've decided to stop drawing the U shape and will put in mind to add the **extra color** to these drips. A good remake of an older dragon puppet would do nicely.

OMGGG HIIIII!!!!! IM A RLLY BIG FAN!!!
Your art style is good , just letting you know that. It's a very charmy dreamy art style idk how to describe it
personally when that happens i take a photo/screenshot, flip it, and use it as a reference just so my brain better understands the shape of what to draw
your tip literally works exaclty as intended though
i think I've used similar tricks before. i study art and i remember our teacher telling us this trick to transfer our drawings on another paper when we didn't have transfer paper at that time

I love how Sam constantly sacrifices his sanity for us 😂
😂
Fr tho
how do you know he was not insane from the start?
STAAY
omg stay
Hanacue!! I love her stuff, her art style is absolutely gorgeous!!
Yeah I love it too!
@@NovaShards_Scarlett I love it, too. It‘s soooo beautiful🥰
I love how instead of just saying something is wrong, Sam actually explains better ways to do things. 10/10 video
8:10 Hanacue🥰 I really love her😊
I would love to see you reacting to some of her videos, Sam, she’s a great artist!
Yes! When I heard her voice I screamed “ITS HANACUE!!!”
I’m not that scary 😔
Me neither (I hope😅)
Ikr 🤧
"No ones yappin, so i have to be the one to yap"
(proceeds to be true to his word)
that art style with the thick legs was really popular in 2020/2021, i really wanted it at the time. some people still draw like that obviously, and i think it’s pretty cute
At least that one actually made the details of the shoe. Then it really looks good. I don't like it tho when it's just a "hoof"
sometimes i draw like that too!
I feel like it's especially popular with the gacha community
8:10 Hanacue! I love her art videos! Her style is so beautiful!

8:14 HANACUE!!!
Shes an amazing artist ❤️
sam gets more and more creative with each intro. the thought of the intros he'll be making in a year scares me
8:10 OMG HANACUE I LOVE HER VIDEOS SM
Love hanacues art style
I love the intros so much
Hanacue!! Omg i love her art! U should check out more of her art!
8:40 that eye is gorgeous
As a beginner artist, I’m so grateful for your videos and they have helped me improve my art a lot! Thank you sam
The name of the artist is @Hanacue, if you wanna check out. She also made a tutorial how she made the rest of the eye. She‘s a great artist😊 (and sorry, maybe my English isn’t very well😅)
7:55 its called an alt artstyle
i use to draw in it tho I drew out of it :D
i thought it was called kidcore 😭 but I suppose at the end of the day kidcore and dreamcore are alt so yk
I thought it was Gacha 🤦🏾♀️
@@praisepeter1207 lmao I think it could be considered that at some scale but gacha is more of a Chibi style
6:16 I immediately knew it was a rose...BUT Sam trying to figure out what it is, reading through the comment section and then knowing that's a rose...I CAN'T🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love Hanacue! Really caught me with that 2x speed speech at the end
Sam would be the type of dad that when you show him a meme he would turn it into a lecture
Aaah Hanacue!! Love her videos and art so much :33
thanks for the compliment sam!!
8:10 HANACUE MENTIONED RAHHHH‼‼🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
9:35 Here I am watching all Sam's videos at normal speed because of his silky smooth calming voice, wondering who on earth would betray this serenity by 2x-ing.
My brain went to the "My Life as a Teenage Robot" style for those leg drawings
"v-very good looking" the best thing i heard today lol
8:00 I love to draw limbs like that, and to answer ur question, I got inspired by Lilo & Stitch and Astroboy😌
HANACUE MENTIONED
I think the problem with the graffite eye hack is that it completely ignores the shape of the head, aside from keeping you from being able to sharpen your skills.
Great video as always!
9:50 you yapping and I'm listening till the end of the world 😂
I missed these thank you 🥹💗
3:47 THIS! I don't get why no one does this😢
7:54 I think it's the gacha artstyle and I personally despise it
I dont like when they make their upper legs huge and lower legs small..
You're right. I was thinking about scott pilgrim stuff (I watched the netflix thingy reciently) but there was something I didn't like about it. And then I remembered gacha life 😮💨
SAM GETTING TRAMA FROM THE EYE FLIPPING METHOD WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🔥💪👹🐺❤️🔥
Love the way Sam not only point out the error but also explain them in an easy to understand and simple way!! 🤩💖 Love the intro too as always XD
I love how he casually makes us happy in his intros by getting scared by our beauty✨🎀
Love how he gives us a better explanation/tips when he sees an error
I actually use that tracing method when doing patterns in traditional art. It has it's place!
How can this man be so funny, handsome and talented like this? 😭😭😭😭 Cannot be real
the intros are always the best part of the videos 😭🙏
Sam I literally used to have the same exact cat shark plushie in the background. It brings back suppressed memories from when I lost both of mine rip Kakashi and Kiomi. 😭
Just got your Art book!!! ITS amaznigggg
9:30 I do feel personally attacked, i need to get things done. and im not ur son, ok 😭
Sam making an reaction video career
i dont like the idea of flipping the artboard for complete symmetry , no one on the planet is completely symmetrical , its much more natural to have slight inaccuracies.
I uploaded my videos with no yapping.. but more on subtitles because I'm shy 😂
Love you sam! You teach me so much and are very funny ❤ 😂
Almost a minute in and Sam’s already suffering 😂
Priceless reactions👌✨
I have seen that eye trick way to much
In the next video may u please draw the arcane art style
yes
With the copy and paste in real life thingy I use it a lot but not on paper. I transfer it onto wood so I can cut out shapes and stuff on wood that don't look wonky. for example at school we had to make something out of wood and I wanted to make it Metallica themed so I used this to transfer the logo onto the wood so I could cut it out
Your art book just came in the mail! I'm absolutely loving it so far!
7:55 i hate this art style so much it's very basic cuz almost everyone uses it now
4:08 THEY WOULD MAKE SUCH A GOOD WEBTOONIST OR WTV THEYRE CALLED (as in their art style and work would look so good in a webtoon-)
It's a good day when Sam posts a art tutorial reaction video ^^
HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS WATCHING ON 2X
I only do it because I was drawing and cant lose time on videos
08:34 OMG that's Hanacue TvT she's amazing
Sam posteddd!!!!
i can appreciate that the bulk of these weren't even tutorials XD but shoutout to Hanacue at the end there! her art is fantastic, and she explains quite a lot in her vids. very helpful~
8:16 hanacue!!!
symmetrical eyeballs hurt my soul /pos
I like the beginning of your videos😂
Hey Sam, I love your videos they are very informative. Would you be able to one day make a tutorial on perspective? 🤔
3:35 I’m getting Deja vu
I’m hoping someone that watched the vid on 2x is now enlightened thanks to the outro
The intros are my fav 😂❤
With all those copy and paste things, I think they don’t realize that literally no one’s face is completely symmetrical.
Am I the only one who misses when Sam used to actually do drawing videos instead of ratings
I do believe the art style is chibi alt
But I could be wrong
We gotta tell hana shes in the video
Hi Sam! My name is also Sam and I’m a small art creator and just recently getting into digital art, you’re my inspiration!❤
I was so happy when I saw the Hanacue tutorial!
Perfect video to accompany my dinner! 10/10
Wow sam 😮
I have never heard the trick of drawing the upper lid on one side, draw the upper lid on the other, and so on to get draw symmetrical/accurate eyes. Gonna practice that at some point
WHY ARE ALL MY FAV TH-camRS UPLOADING AT THE sSAME TIME
I never have an issue with needing to flip my canvas because when I draw my canvas is constantly doing barrel rolls so I've seen it at every angle
Love you videos❤
4:43 the oohs are so on point 😂😂
Hi father Sam, thank you for another wise video. 😌
I’ve just checked your channel and the video has appeared
8:14 chibi style
9:52 I wish I could relax, but I just finished watching 2 season of Arcane
I remember the art style being called alt artstyle, but alt art differs from person to person. I guess it could be a mix of chibi and alt, but i'm not really sure
Love ur vids Sam 😊
Nice shirt Sam
Thank you for sacrificing your sanity sam.
I watch all my videos at 2x speed, because it's far more efficient, and gives me so much more time to do other things. It's actually a great lifehack...
3:10 the moment they discover Tracing Paper is going to blow their freaking mind.
I love Sam's content- he's so supportive and funny.
Anyway, with the drips thing, I've decided to stop drawing the U shape and will put in mind to add the **extra color** to these drips.
A good remake of an older dragon puppet would do nicely.
Still tryna figure out why Sam has a picture of Pink Sweats and Kehlani on the table behind him.
OMG I JUST FINISHED WATCHING HANACUE BEFORE THIS !! i highly suggest checking her out, her art is amazingly gorgeous and shes extremely talented ^_^
Omg I ordered ur art book, it’s my first art book ever and I’ve been drawing since I was 5, IM SO EXCITED!!!
I totally get that reaction about the Mom Cult, Sam (I'm Indian and fight these shorts daily)
YaYYYYY! so excited for the vid!
That 3:10 is actually genious... 999 lvl
Here after heartbroken by the latest arcane episode
ARCANE FAN SPOTTED? im here too im in pain truly
When ever Sam posts my mood is always boosted
