- I ran our 2019 General into the local Polaris dealer for its annual service and they had a new machine on the sales floor that looked like a General, but was actually an entirely new model from Polaris. So, when I picked the General up later, I asked the sales rep to walk me over to it, so that I could see what it's all about.
This machine isn't for everybody, but it is pretty cool and I wanted to share with you what I learned.
Thanks to Justin at Ray's Sport & Cycle in Grand Rapids, MN for spending time with me. This wasn't a planned, scripted or sponsored trip - I just had my phone and a lot of questions.
Very Nice High Quality Unit!
I agree, very nice machine.

The 1942 Willys Jeep measures 62 inches in width, 131 inches in length, and has a wheelbase of 80 inches.
I hadn’t thought of it like that, but when I look at the new Xpedition, one of my first thoughts was, “it’s like a Jeep”.
Which dealership is that?
It’s Ray’s in Grand Rapids, MN
Thing looks like a small truck lol
Yeah, it’s starting to blur the line between a truck and an ATV.
Gee they decided to finish doors like Yamaha and blue lites for the money buy a jeep
It's hard for me to envision spending that much money, but bass anglers drop far more on a boat and trailer, yet have far fewer days of usage. So, when I put the generally rising cost of UTV/ATV purchases into that comparison, it seems cheap. Even snowmobiles are less of a bargain when I compare how many days per year I use our General. On the other hand, this new Xpedition is more like a Jeep than any UTV I've ever seen. Makes a guy wonder what a CJ5 or CJ7 would cost.
