I used to have the same outlook when I used to play pool. Go for a crazy double, or whatever, and if it goes in, don't apologise for a possible fluke. This guy did that, for real, in the biggest games imaginable, with class, and we'll never see his like again. I was shit at pool by the way😂

@@scout7060 That "Federer remains unsurpassed for many things" is told to you by the majority of those who work professionally in tennis, including players and former players.
Then the examples you gave make no sense as 3 players have been nominated who have all won at least 20 slams, the numbers must be considered but they must not be considered "only" them, only accountants do it, certain sofa fans, those who they have never picked up a racket, and so on.

Remember seeing the net exchange with Kevin Andersen in Miami, made my eyes start watering, crowd couldn't believe what we'd just seen. The actual speed of those shots in person vs the foreshortened camera effect (for TV which make the viewing possible ball movement but appear significantly slower), were what made both stab volleys incredible.

There is at least hundreds of other impossible ones he did, on top of my mind that were not included in this one, tweener against djokovic, running lob against djokovic (simmilar to one he did on roddick in this video) front tweener lob vs querry in wimbledon, running half volly against roddick at australian open, and one i remember that made me laugh how absurd it is, in brisbane doubles he stretches and bearly manages to get to the lob and puts so much spin that ball drops in opponent side and back to his.... breaking laws of physics... G.O.A.T.

i really miss Rodger. A one of a kind athlete. His game was like no other. I have pretty much given up watching tennis now. Every player plays the same style. The one who has most power wins. There is no settng up points, just hit it hard. No no net play. Djokovic wins titles because he the most consistent. He is not unusal due to his finese or style, but becuse he so consis tent. Asol we have to remember that he was a lot older than Nadal and Djok, and in his prime, no one came close to his greatness.

@@victorito07 Not sure what you mean. My only point is that there are no players today that play with an all around game. No net play, no settting up points, just hit it hard and to a corner. As i said, pretty boring. The joker is a great player, but Rodger is the very best all time.

A match with Federerr is never boring, and often spectacular, whereas the games of not a few players with great statistics are repetitive, unimaginative, and not much fun for tennis enthusiasts to watch. Something needs to be done with equipment and rules to push tennis in the direction pioneered by Federer. .
