No need to undo the crossmember! On the rear mount you need to unbolt the steering rack and lift it up to be able to get the mount out(2 bolts), you will also need to undo your tie rod end links(2 castle nuts). It is also easier to get the front mount out if the back Mount is unbolted. Don’t put back your steering rack until you have tightened your rear mount bolts… After you have secured the front mount.
Sakeenah Auto Solutions hey since you mentioned it, that could be a possibility. But you would have to first probably free the other mounts to pick up the engine. Not sure, but there might be other stuff in the the way. But it’s worth a shot, I have not tried it that way.
@@olegmalyk1639 mine was a lot more complex. The top mount sat under the abs module... You have to remove at least one line or the entire abs pump then the bracket then go down to remove another nut... Just superfluous. Upon inspection the rear mount, which they could have designed like the front (with bolts instead of studs) look like it would require the cross member to come off it.. the front was a piece of cake

You should post your bloopers
Did you really have to remove the cross member? Can't you just Jack up the engine high enough to clear the rear mount

Sakeenah Auto Solutions is it the same model? AWD and manual, if that makes a difference
Could one use a new front mount in place of the rear mount? Easier to replace next time.
@@superdupersalem No. The bolts are not the same distance apart and the mounts are different sizes also.
