Always amazing how much gear we all travel with. I can see the usefulness of wheel barrow style rigs like the carp boys use as you can keep everything attached and move up the beach without the faff of walking back and forth every time the tide comes and goes. I might get a electric power golf trolly and adapt this as I've seen some very clever trolleys.
Nice upload again, I grew up in Aber, have you tried Tanybwlch on the south side of Aber? Easy parking and the option of the stone jetty or the steeply sloping beach adjacent.
Fished there for a couple of hours on the ebb - should have known better (didn't catch) and fished it up from low water. Will go back sometime and do it properly. Thanks for watching.
Thanks. Yes, sometimes they may spin up around the swivel where you attach the rig to your leader - most of the time that doesn't happen if you take care streamlining your hook baits.
Although I 'have a new motor' my name is Mick! Thanks for watching - I'll try and cover Aberystwyth sometime; but I prefer Borth, Clarach Bay and Llanrhystud, so tend to head to those venues.
Wouldn't be fishing without a Doggie! And that area is Doggie Central!. Fished more Fishguard way 2 yards or 200, 1 hook or 3,Pennels and whatever? Dog on every hook
Bit more info and action would be nice. Eg Other local marks where are local tackle shops what species by season or anything really. How about telling us where to park and distances. Too many long silences.
One of the best fishing vlogs on any screen.... ♥️🇫🇷🇫🇷
Many thanks for that!
Take notice of Johns tips.He knows what he’s doing!
Mick! Nice comment though!
Well done John
Cheers

Yes - I should invest in a proper beach trolley with pneumatic wheels for flat beaches.

cracking session mate well done 👏 like the pully rig but when I use pully rig it comes back tangle
Try the Breakaway proper pulley clip . Much stronger than those with the built in swivel . Great Info . on concerning all bait clips and pulley rigs .

Great seat - box are you allowed to tell us the make on
Its a RidgeMonkey bucket seat.
Great session . Nice to see you out again . Tight lines . Take care on the rocks . Do you use strong braid straight through or also shock leader ?
30lb braid with 100lb braid shock leader.
Good video John. I could do with some information on fishing the Aberystwyth area if anyone could help please?

Yes - but there seems to be more bull huss in Clarach Bay.

Anything else? Thanks for watching - if you rewatch it you may come across where I cover parking for this venue.
