Don, in your first answer at the beginning of the video, you mention the words lucky and grateful. That is a quality that makes you such a likeable, relatable guy: You come across as a guy who loves life and lives it with optimism and gratitude. What a blessing! (I also enjoy your impeccable suits and hats. Your tie/handkerchief combos are fantastic.)
Mr. Osborne - I'm so impressed w/ your wealth & breadth of car knowledge. Although not as knowledgeable as you, I, too have been an enthusiast since 6 y.o. (1954) & weaned on several car magazines since. Always had a special appreciation for English & Italian cars. I currently drive a true GT (I feel) - a '98 Lexus SC300 w/ c. 52,500 mi. I could rhapsodize at length about this car, but would love to hear your opinion of the SC300 & SC400, '91-2000.
Dear Donald, thank you for this and for everything else that you ave already given us. Reflecting upon your oeuvre the body of work appears almost complete, yet feels recently begun? I cannot guess what will come next, and look forward to it, whatever you choose perhaps you might interview Pinky Lai, or invite him to comment on some of his often misunderstood design work for Porsche. I remain dumbfounded there are only 30000 subscribers? Perhaps I should be comforted. Thank you.
I was pleasantly surprised at your pick of the AMC AMX. My first car was a ‘69 Javelin and have always thought that era, 1968 -1970 Javelin/AMX was the sexiest muscle car ever built. Thanks for your pick! It wasn’t a mustang or a Camaro which is why I loved it!
The Fiat Panda is a reliable mainstay in actual daily Italian driving ( along with the cinquecento ) and its joyful to see it on your list. I was stationed at the US Navy Base in Naples for 4 years and lived in Roma on a student visa for another 6 a few years after that. Forza Italia and Froza grandi auto Italiane,.!! in bocca lupo
If I knew that you guys would actually pick my knuckle headed comment I would have actually asked a serious question of the maestro. But, that was kinda funny. Thanks again, I needed that after this nutty week.
Dear Donald, thank you for revealing your choice of car would be the 1952 Fiat OttoVu (8V). I was intrigued to learn more and what scarce information one could find proved to be most interesting. I was fascinated to learn that it would spawn so many fascinating variants, but the original is more than lovely in and of itself. I would love to learn how it came into existence given that FIAT was supposed to be focused on volume appeal (i.e. more affordable) and not aesthetically stylized. Maybe a forthcoming Audrain Episode please.
Many thanks for answering our questions! It was brilliant seeing your Ferrari Roma and your Fiat Panda. Looking forward to your 50,000 subs early next year.
Great new feature Donald, those question/answers shows should be monthly. Just a small detail...the pronounciation of Koenigsegg is not like "owe", but like "ö". As you are an opera singer, you must have sang some french scores. The french word " peu" (a little) is the way to pronounce "KOEnigsegg", as well the way to pronounce Peugeot. Our wonderfull friend Jay unfortunately messes Peugeot all the time, with his "Pooogeot". I hope you don't mind, only nearly perfect things need the last small optimization.Looking forward to the next show
The question of what's the best car or what's your favorite car had me saying "for what?" The best road trip car is not the same as the best autocross car. If you can afford more than one car, it comes down to the right tool for the job. On my budget most of the exotics and antiques are museum pieces to be appreciated but not owned/maintained.
"eating Pizza"???? Hell I want to see you do a "Mr. Pitt", and eat a Snickers bar with a knife and fork! But seriously folks... Donald what is your take on ...Tesla'izing classic cars/Vintage Land Rovers etc., to preserve them. Synthetic fuels as an answer is almost too good to be true? I saw my first GP as a newly minted 14 year older in 1961 at the Glen and my little world CHANGED. Saw my first Drag race not long after, and saw loads of diversity(what a pleasant surprise) in races and gender. Saw in person Cha Cha about 16 or 17 and non of the guys said a word about girls/women shouldn't "this or that". Cha Cha would just whoop ya! Yean no one uttered any objections. Thanks to you and Jay for being in this space..... Tony Davis
Fuel/oil prices for collector cars is immaterial. My daily driver uses a LOT more fuel than my collecable(s) that go what, 1000 miles a year? It's not like you're gonna put thousands of miles on your Hemi or 440, right? Even a poor wanna be collector like myself the cost of fuel is insignificant compared to the cost of the car itself.
What do you think of California going all Electric Car's in 13 years ? Why can't you buy a Hybrid that gets 52 mpg in 13 years hybrids wlll probably get 70 mpg.
The audrain museum and the people who work there are amazing . Always a great time there . Donald is a true gentleman . Can’t wait for the concourse
@@naahhhbiitch6431 Thank you for the kind words, we’re glad you enjoy your time at the museum and Motor Week! See you in a few!
I enjoy Mr Osborne. He has a passion for vehicles about which I knew little so I always learn more about a subject that’s fascinating to me.

Glad you enjoyed! Keep some questions in mind for the next milestone!
Thumbs up for the 65 Mustang Fastback! I might have one in the garage soon!
Thank you for taking my question. I appreciate the work you do at the Audrain. I hope to visit soon.
Thank you for your support, Steve!

En Argentina tenemos una larga tradicion de elegancia pero hoy nos interesa la del señor Osborne
Thank you !
Please talk about the Mazda Miata MX5 and it's history. Thanks, William
Stay tuned for an exhibition highlight of the Mazda Miata! Coming soon!
Great Q and A ! Should do a video like this one quarterly

Donald is such a nice guy.
Love the video, cool channel!

Yes she's going to pick me up
Thanks for the answers. If I were a betting man, I would guess you listen 🎧 to opera while driving. What is your favorite in that regard?
Finally 30k. Congrats.
I would like more content on English cars
Here comes the Silhouettes

Just heard about Leno, I hope he is goinig to be ok.

Donald, I think you need to write your autobiography!
Those synthetic fuels are hopefully promising. I have some wonders like if they'll change how a car sounds or if they'll work for every car and etc.
A company in our town is making synthetic fuel , it's called "Carbon Capture" .
.
What no Pinefarina
any news about Jay's condition? ;-(
Why you hang out with Leno? He is bad company😅😅
