    Q&A: These are my own questions and answers because reasons.
    Is a Ninja 400 too fast for the streets? - No.
    Should I be riding like this? - No, I would not recommend mimicking this.
    What do I preach? - WEAR YOUR GEAR. (Ie. Boots, Gauntlet Gloves, Back Protector/Airbag System, Quality Helemet, and a 1 or 2 piece leather suit)

    I like that u slowed down behind a car and waited for a safer, straight part of the road to overtake him instead of just going straight past him

      Yeah i try* to pass in only the straight. I won't pass a car if I cannot see what is coming ahead. I'm not taking that risk.

      Didn’t need much convincing for me lol I hopped on a few other bikes and it was all I needed to know that I should keep my 400. It’s way more fun and better going full throttle in 2nd and going the speed limit than being on a 1000 and going 60mph at 2k revs in 1st gear 😭💀

    Just shows a ninja 400 is all you need for sport riding on the street. I have been riding over a decade and have a street triple 765rs, but this guy would smoke me.
    I am so far from being able to use all of my bikes capabilities despite doing ride schools and many track days

      @@CutTheKam I bought a 2012 street triple R brand new, it got nicked in 2019, that’s when I got my 765rs. Gearing on the 765 is a little long so I put a small sproket in the front and now it’s perfect.
      The bike is great cause it has razor sharp steering, awesome brakes and suspension and that 3 cyc engine is beautiful. It’s a very easy bike to ride

    I knew I couldn't out ride my tires in turns, but I didn't think they could do this much. Going posted limit of 65 in a 35 turn is as far as I've pushed it.

      Bigger Bike usually means you have to dish out more money for parts, insurance, tires, brake pads etc. So that's another reason to keep it lol

    This is literally insane! How many runs have you had on this stretch of road to know it like this? I have an MT09 and run the same road every weekend but I feel like the stock rearsets are holding me back. This is pure skill, ignore the hate.

      I've been coming up here for a few years 😅. But I know ever corner on highway 9 from downtown Saratoga to Boulder Creek so I know what's coming next. Rear sets are a nice upgrade if it makes you feel more comfortable.

    Nice. I’ve had bigger faster bikes but as I’ve gotten older (now late 30s) I’m finding this is where it’s at- lighter, smaller bikes.
    In hindsight I should have kept my bikes like that instead of always wanting to go bigger and more powerful.

    No matter how good the skills one error can cause a horrible accident. Be careful. It's always better to do this stuff on tracks where random animals, cars, and etc. can't dart out in front of you and end you.

    In the '80s, a Honda CB400 Hawk rider was the fastest of all up on Angeles Crest. It was the perfect tool for that road.

    Just pre-ordered a 2022 R3 as my first bike. After watching you own the road maybe I should just switch it to a 2022 Ninja 400 lol. Or wait to upgrade to it. Thoughts?

      Both bikes are very similar, so either choice is a good one. I prefer the ninja since it is a tad bigger. I would say look at a mt03/z400 as well.

    i didn't know tha bike could do 70 in 3rd. how do i know when to shift up? i always shift to the next gear between 6-7rpm

      I mean it depends on how you're riding and where you're riding :) commuting I usually do 5-6 maybe 7 k twisties..run those rpms up :)

      You'll be able to tell the revs by the sound with time. If you're riding bike to the limits, you should shift almost at redline. If it's a calm ride or commute, 6-7k is perfect for this bike, less stress on the engine.

    man I never hit 60 mph on 3rd gear … does it help with cornering when going 60 mph in 3rd gear rather than 5th or 6th gear?

      Front of the gas tank, with a 3" extension facing the top of the tripple tree. Very easy to set up.

      Pirelli SuperCorsa F:110/70 R:140/70 is what I recommend for riding like this. A solid 2nd choice is the dunlop Q5.

    Get fast on a slow bike. Best way to learn to manage corner speed and grip. I have a zx10r but I also have a cbr250rr to keep me honest.

    Good bit of riding but careful with your life expectancy riding like that bro. BTW I used to ride a 650R when they came out and people crack on that engine but I actually loved it. Showing a bit too much upper body here but a fun set of curves in Boston

    And I loved the sound of it (which you can hear in your video they sound the same), the torque curve, everything. Suspension was kinda lame though.

      Yeah the 650r engine is kinda a dud but can get the job done in the right hands 👍.
      I've been riding only track for the past 6 months. Only ride the Yamaha Vino Scooter on the street right now. 😅 Tops out at like 40mph on the downhill.

I have a Tiger800, Duc 1000 Multi S, DT250 and KDX220 (which is about to go bye-bye because of endless months of unemployment owing to the Plandemic)

      It can do 60+ in 2nd gear and 3rd can go 70+.

      @@ShortGuyMoto im not sure about that one… not with stock sprockets anyway. Mine tops out in 6th at 115mph, though mines a UK model, I think the Japanese model has like 3 more horsepower
