CBR300r was my first bike too! You don’t need to be able to flat foot the bike to become comfortable on it. At stops, keep your right foot on the rear brake and only put down your left. Should make it more comfortable and at 5’6 it should be doable.

In Europe we can only have 125 till 18 so I need to wait just a year.. Watching this video before I go to school 30km on my Honda CBR 125R.. Its not the fastest but its fun way have a better day and I dont have to wait for a train 😀
In Portugal you can have a 125 at 16 years old.
In America they can't tell you what you're allowed to buy.
@@yummyzerg they cant on europe too but they can tell you what you are allowed to ride
@@yummyzerg I can buy cars, 1000cc bikes if I have a money for it.. But cant ride or drive them.. I have to wait till 18 to have license for it... If you are 15, you get AM thats for a moped, from 16 you get A1 Motorcycle of 125cc and 11kW.. Also small city car that goes only like 50km/h thats around 30mph.. Then when you are 18 you can get B, A2 which B is a for normal car and A2 is motorcycle that can be whatever cc but it has to be 35kW and no more.. Then at age 24 you can get A which is every motorcycle no matter cc or power.. so beyond 35kW..
@@IOFIsickness Yeah same in Czechia.. I got A1 for 125cc but when Im 18 I can get A2 so some 400,500cc that is not higher than 35kw..
Videos are looking good bro keep it up!!
Bike sounds good too.
Thank you! There is plenty more to come, I appreciate the support!
Haha, I can see my apartment complex in the beginning of the vid!
I used to live in Segundo back in 2013 and the route you took is just so reminiscent lol
Damn, he rides his 400cc sports bike like a commuter bike on his commute to school...
I have a commuter bike, that I drive just like this, it's really relaxing.
Love to see safe riders
I’m pretty sure there called “pussys”
This is like me riding. I am a new rider. Just bought my thirdhand bike and also I am a left handed person so I fined it a bit difficult and scary riding but I am getting a hang of it just like this guy. I don’t know hit to downshift and rev match I just go to the brakes and stop. Lining in the corners or coves is my most scary thing when riding.
Planning on getting the LV-10 for my Ninja 300. It sounds pretty good!
I had a 2018 Ninja 400 a few years back before I bought my current bike which is a 2021 Ninja ZX-6R. I loved my 400 but the one thing I didn’t like was the seat. After a long ride getting off the seat was excruciating 😰😰
Yeah the seat is definitely the weakest point of the bike but easily fixable! Planning on getting a new seat before my next road-trip.
The corbin seat was worth every penny. Awesome seat and so comfortable.
I love the red color on your bike
Davis is such a nice little town. The kava bar is really chill to hangout in
Sensible rider just cruising around love this. All the riders that want to run from cops and rev tell their throttle falls off give bikers a bad rep. Love to see this!
I agree!
Incoming UCD freshman here! I'm just about to take the MTC course. Can't wait to bring a bike up there! 😀
Hey that’s awesome, congrats! If you end up bringing the bike you’ll definitely see me around. We should ride sometime! Stay safe and good luck next year.
I don’t really drive motorcycles for freeway or speeding like a fucking maniac. This guy gives me hopes of why motorcycling should be something we should respect but not to be afraid of. It’s important to drive safe and with normal speed. Im from a small town so I use it to cruise in and to go to my lil part time job, I fucking love that moment when I’m having a bad day and I get to drive it for a small 5-10 min to clear and get some peace of mind
deam this gives me flashback to when i was in highschool and went to school on my bike everyday. I live in Europe so i was only able to ride a little 50cc, but it was still fun. I now own a duke 390 and lets say i can get to places much quicker ;) have a good one m8!
Seriously, the place where you live is absolutely beautiful.
Thats sick. I studied in UC Davis during summer.
I still remember some places! Thanks for the video.
Idk if it just looks like it, but the fact that you're on a motorcycle and it took 15 mins makes it seem like your school is so far lol. It takes me 10 mins by bus + less than 10 mins to walk to get to school.
I'm doing my license for an A2 motorcycle now, 2nd week in and I'm so so excited!! ^^
Took me 5 min when I used to go to school and drive, 30minutes when I walked, and 10-15 when I biked there
Takes me like 30 mins on the bus. Took a longer route to campus too. Could probably do it in 10 mins. Good luck and stay safe riding!
@@BobbysBikes
Thats too far away
Omg this is awesome I used to do this ride on my triumph daytona 675R all the time right by the subway and taco bell!! thats a good little road to get some speed
When I watched this vid, I actually pictured myself on a R3 Yamaha riding around my town.
Man I wish I would’ve gotten this over my CBR300r.
Then again I’ve never ridden a bike before so a little Rebel 300 probably would’ve been the easier choice either way, having a hard time starting on a sports bike as a smaller built 5’6 guy
CBR300r was my first bike too! You don’t need to be able to flat foot the bike to become comfortable on it. At stops, keep your right foot on the rear brake and only put down your left. Should make it more comfortable and at 5’6 it should be doable.
Miss roads like this. I live in Las Vegas now and riding is fighting for your life unless you take low-key roads.
I would do this but… first reason I don’t have a bike… second reason.. it’s like a 3 minute walk..
Walk? What's that?
I can’t wait to get a bike to do this, I’ll be the coolest kid in school!!
I wish I Had a bike to experience the excitement and enjoyment you feel
Nice ride man! Im 22 yo and I love ride like this , feel the motor and stay focus on the road.
Take care of that clutch , put neutral on the trafic lights!
Putting the bike in neutral at lights is probably the worst advice you can give to new riders.
@@LucidSlynx Why?
@@eriebigolin1229
Some drivers don't pay attention and you need to be ready to move at all times, in saying that not all riders are checking their mirrors at all times while stationary.
@@LucidSlynx Nice argument!
Watching this video before my Nina 400 arrives next week! I also like the fact that you're not riding your bike like you're racing the Isle of Man.
how is it?
Didn't know a DB killer for the LV existed. Def getting it.
This makes me miss my cbr500 bikes under 600 are so much better to get around town it’s just so relaxing an enjoyable.
Hey nice bike man!! I’m over in Vacaville and I just a got a ninja 650! I hope to see you out there sometime👍
Thank you! I ride all over Nor Cal so I hope I see you around!
Jak chodziłem do szkoły średniej to też taki miałem motor od kiedy zacząłem jarać to już nie mam ochoty na tym jeździć . To jest najlepsze 😂
You gotta support this dude💪
Bro uses gear on a Ninja 400. That's a MASSIVE W!
Lots of people don't use gear even on a 1000cc...
Wow davis ca is close to my town, great to see people in davis ride bikes
Such a good video. I just finished up my 3 day motorcycle course, hoping to get my ninja 400 by next month! :)
Congrats! Good luck riding and enjoy it while still staying safe :)
@@BobbysBikes I appreciate that brotha! Quick question, did you buy your ninja brand new from a dealership?
Yup! I bought it new from a dealership. I live in an area without too many second hand bikes, so I had to buy new unless I wanted to travel 50+ miles…
@@BobbysBikes that's awesome! I'm in the same type of situation, plus I just prefer getting a new bike rather than getting a used one. Last question brotha! Did you buy it in full payment as soon as you got to the dealership, or did you finance it?
I was planning on buying it in full, which is why I bought a 400 since it’s a lot cheaper than a bigger bike. I qualified for 0% APR for 12 months so I ended up just putting half down and financing the rest so that I could just invest the rest in the meantime. I would recommend buying in full though if you could afford it.
You are such a good safe rider I ride just like you keep it up
this was a mad calming video
My kind of riding, smooth and safe. No need to go fast.
Loved the video man keep uploading amazing videos
Wow man, she is PURRING, love that sound
Bro he's not going to school, he's moving to another country wth 😂.
Loved the calm and safe riding tho! ❤
Bobby post some more videos, love watching your videos for background noise or just to have something on
This is how bikes should be ridden and respected. It’s just pleasure driving these bikes not that you give justice to it by speeding.
I do the exact same thing everyday on the same bike 😁
That’s awesome! Never a dull morning on the bike :)
very safe riding my bro, you're a very good rider!👍
Sacramento California here ! Soon to be new rider !
安全骑行,值得敬佩。❤
Nice bike! I also live in Davis and have a big heart for motorcycles, if I see you around I’ll give you a wave. Take care and ride safe
#bikelife
Thanks! Always feel free to wave, I hope to see you around!
Great vid, got right into it without talking for the first 10 minutes as some youtubers do.
Small bikes are cool, man. Perfect for people that can't afford or cannot handle a powerful bike.
bz bz bzzzz to school to have good grades. Rock on, kid. Go show em.
Nice video man. This roads are magnific if compares with the roads here in Brazil. Tha asfalt is so flat. Here we have a lot of holes. and, we pay 10 times more on the price of this bikes and taxes. it´s a mess.
Ninja in Red it looks amazing
This hypes me up, can't wait to get my XSR 155
