Being on the receiving end, however ..
For some reason I always found Baek easier to button-mash than Hwoarang. Even made it all the way to Azazel in the arcade! Good old days...
That's because Baek has way less moves than Hwo. Not to mention, he only has two main stances while Hwo has four (six if including BT.)
In Tekken 6, Baek had 99 moves. Hwo had 169! And most of that was locked behind certain stances. Plus, compared to Baek, Hwo has also shitloads to think about.
So yeah, Baek's cooler and easier. But Hwo's more varied and harder.

it is funny that law's costume greatly suits the stage. it is just like he is a kind of worst chef that suddenly burns down the kitchen of a building and eventually the whole establishment is in flames.
Burning temple stage with its pumping OST needs a remake.
Whenever i remember T5 i remember myself playing in that awesome stage.
Btw those matches show that T5 is still very playable nowadays, not outdated at all.
Indeed T7 is just a heavily upgraded T5 in terms of Gameplay.
If Hwo is Stone Cold, Baek is Ricky Steamboat: well respected and kind of badass but not a mainstream player.

All characters from Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection and onwards are unlocked from the start.
In Tekken 6, the only mode where you have to unlock characters is scenario campaign, and even then, you can still play as everyone from the beginning, in other modes.
But yeah, you have to unlock Baek in scenario campaign by beating his stage, unless if you choose him as your third character in the mode.
There is no character that mainaHighway can't make look spectacular.

I've always prefered Beck over Whoreang. I prefer his more gentlemanly look. I only had some limited experience with Whoreang previously, so I had to make the switch with T7. He's my most played character now. The style is more important than the character design, especially since you can customize them a lot.

It's a Tool Assisted Speedrun (TAS). Basically, a bunch of frame by frame inputs goes through the software to make theoretical speedruns, or epic fights like this.

I'd be cheering for Baek, he was my secondary main until he got removed. Don't like Hwo's gameplay at all compared to Baek's.
