I liked Sweet Autumn so much. It makes the game look a lot better, but keeps the amazing atmosphere of IV. That's how every ENB should be. By the way, incredible editing and content. Should have more subs.

I like how games can trick yo to think "this looks photorealistic", that's what I like from RealityIV, it got me to think that so many times, and also, to learn where and when it fails, not sure if it is related to the creator or game engine limitations but here they are: lacks bloom effect; SkyDome day time colours not that accurate (some places look really great but others make it look wierd); the shadows in day time most of the time looks like we have a clear blue sky (that's why the shadows have a blueish tone and it is not that dark) despite having some clouds or the sky not looking that blue. Rob said an overall pros and cons that I agree with, and I felt like I needed to say this because realistic visuals are not that simple to explain and achieve in games, so we need some more factors to leave things clear :) Great video Rob! Awesome job you are doing to make people appreciate the game even to this days.
Sweet Autumn and RealityIV are the best for me. The colors in RealityIV are beautiful and realistic, and the mod runs very well. Sweet Autumn makes the visual amazing, clear and keeps the incredible atmosphere of GTA 4.

Thanks for the video that we all wanted. The main drawback of Reality 2.0 is that you can't see anything at night time. I am kinda impressed with Visual IV I will try it out.
Well presented, and very informative. You make a very good point at the end where you show and explain briefly mixing and matching options from different packages. Personally, I've gone with DayL Natural timecyc (keeps vanilla ideas, but no desaturation) clouds from Max Payne 3, with a reshade on top which solves AA and introduces a subtle bloom and dof. On top of this (!), the very first enb version for gta4 with selected appropriate shaders (vehicle chrome, for example) which really pulls it into this decade...
Honestly I could change my mind about the top 4, they are all so amazing. Not that CleanIV isn't good, it's useful for those that need it. Gotta do some experimenting and mixing some files from each mod together and see what I can make.
Your talking skills are really nice. I loved the references and the way you present and compare stuff. It's how it should be done. Got here randomly after seeing that Rstar tweet about new title in the works :) keep it up
All these mods except the first one, cleanIV, I liked. CleanIV changes the authentic too much for my taste though, I like the darker look of the original.
For me it seems like Reality IV is the best. Infact i am confused 😂..i like Sweet Autumn and Skyline as well. If only there was a way to combine the best features of each Amazing video btw...hope there'll be a Part 2 ❤️✨

Thanks for the tips. I went with CleanIV, and to clean up the aliasing, I enabled Nvidia DSR DL Scaling 1.78 5120x2880 in the Nvidia Control Panel, which cleaned up the image quite a bit.

Sweet Autumn keeps that original mood but cleans up that fuzzy bloom that kinda makes it irritating for me to look at, indeed does make the game quite pretty in a concrete jungle shithole kinda way. Tho the night hours are meh but seeable. I like the way RealityIV attempts to keep that grim mood via the weather patterns, always enjoyed the cloudy and rainy times of day in this anyways and now its seemingly more frequent. Early morning/late afternoon hours are a treat too. Night is just wonderful to look at but a pain to play in.
People at WatchMojo don't know what they are talking about. None of their top 10 list makes sense. Keep doing more videos like these. Will you make some GTA 4 mission tips videos if you can?

I randomly found your channel because I normally watch GTA 4 content and it's my favourite GTA game (and one of my all time favourite video game) and the first one I've actually completed (my first GTA was Vice City). I liked GTA 4 more than GTA 5 long before Crowbcat turned hating GTA into a trend. WatchMojo actually put GTA 5, VC and SA above IV, which made me very angry. They also did a top 10 NFS list and put MW2012 in number 6 when the game doesn't even deserve a spot in the top 10 (because most NFS fans don't consider it to be an NFS game).
In the Crowbcat part, by saying 'GTA', I meant 'GTA 5', that was a typo and I somehow made that terrible mistake. I don't want to edit my reply for obvious reason.

thanks mate. as for your fear, you could always make backups of the files the mod replaces (check the mod's folder and see what files it has in it), if something goes wrong then just use the files you've backed up and replace whatever the mod changed.
Are them compatible with the latest patch? I mean GTA IV Complete edition? Because I really get an amazing performance improvement and I would like to mod that version of the game.

I love visualIV, especially night, even if the night sky isn't realistic it feels like it fits the city in some weird way
City lights are making sky orange/brown(fog, pollution,clouds are reflecting light), stars are less visible then, its very realistic for a city.
Reality IV is definitely the best one, I wonder how it would look combined with Clean IV. But Reality IV is the definite winner

Wish there was a mod where more leaves fall off of the trees and a bit more debris in the air and road for certain weathers.

i cant stand having low af fps, the game is 12 years old and i tun at like 40fps, i can run gta V at like 75-110 fps

I actually tested these timecycs with the winter map mods, imo VisualIV is the best with it by far. RealityIV 2.0 comes close though

Probably because it's a bit outdated for them. While i do like to use RealityIV, The Original's atmosphere is the most fitting.

I combined VisualIV and Sweet Autumn. The sky was too bright most of the time because of VisualIV but I did like the blood effects it gave.

honestly, they both are amazing for different types of people. if you want bright, you go to realityiv, if you want dark you go to skyline.
