Thrill Drive (Arcade) | MAME 0.261 | Gameplay #1

This is Thrill Drive, a 1998 arcade exclusive racing game developed by Konami. I'm pretty sure Criterion Games used Thrill Drive as their inspiration for Burnout with wild crashes and high speed arcade racing. However in Burnout, you don't get a woman screaming in horror when you have a gnarly high speed crash like you do in Thrill Drive.
What gets me about Thrill Drive is that if it analyzes and gives you a poor performance rating, it will label you as a "Bad Driver" and you'll get to enter your initials to be part of the game's "Worst 30 Drivers".
Now because I am playing this game in MAME 0.261, the emulation for Thrill Drive has not been 100% perfected yet as there are graphical glitches and sound issues. Game footage was recorded via the built-in AVI capture and converted to MP4 using HandBrake.
