The graphics aren’t as good as the arcade version and the engine sounds worse

Pretty slick racing game, I remember seeing a similar game on iOS once.

This game and Nicktoons Turbo still have the same issues since forever.

Exotica has been in this same state for like 10 years you would think it being a popular game it would be a priority for them to get it working properly but all we get in updates in the last 6-8 years is some obscure digital chess game from 1983 now working. Really if you go back to a 2017 build of MAME it is like 99 percent the same when it comes to functionality/solid emulation on popular games. I think the only popular games to get working with glitches since then is a few Midway racers from the late 90s.

You know, if they had more tracks, and different biomes, with more vehicles and liveries I’d say this game would be worth the port.. there is no good point to point offroad racing game. Baja edge of control plays odd at times on point to point races, rally games don’t include offroad vehicles, Dakar is fresh and has good graphics but lacks depth and variety (vehicles are okay) mx vs atv has done a great job with what they were working with, being that the game is mostly Motorcross and ATV related. I never got to try 4x4 evo2 as my disc was damaged when I bought it and the store didn’t have a replacement.. mud runner/snow runner have almost nothing to do with racing, which is okay because it’s not the games nature, but having a buggy/trophy truck would’ve been a fun addition.. in all honesty, if they had quadruple the levels, or levels that generate themselves like minecraft, and more vehicles with the same graphics, but slightly upgraded physics this game would absolutely rock on a sim set up as a home arcade. I came to see this game after someone locally had two of these in cabinet’s for sale for 3,000 Canadian. Had to come check out this game and it looks fun, just needs more stages/tracks

Interesting feature

Don't forget the staticky Chase camera in the arcade release, I'm not a fan of that.

I enjoy that you have, at some point, become familiar with the layout of the invisible roads. I don't know what the deal is with the invisible stuff or why it persists. I wonder if anyone interested in making this work is trying to find a workaround.

Probably one of the greatest arcade racers of all time, I vividly remember this game from my childhood and I would always play it before seeing a movie at a Harkins. It was nice seeing the Cruis’n series get a reboot with the Nintendo Switch, along with Hot Wheels Unleashed on the PS4.

Living in spirit of test drives 5 and 6. The graphics the sound the heads up display (partially, please note the Rev counter's needle and on the medium top left it's a fund that reminisce of that of test drive 6 on the PlayStation).

On paper and execution of the gameplay. It does scream F-Zero with Southerners. No relation to The Rush games of Atari and Midway. The execution on the other hand was done by the Stooges that brought us Super Street the game (hot garbage licensed game by the way) who before also gave us this atrocity that is Flatout 3: chaos and destruction (which is the amalgamation of other team6 Studio's racing titles on Nintendo Wii). While I do have it in my library along with the first two Flatout games that were made by Bugbear Entertainment, I'd rather play Flatout 1, 2, Ultimate Carnage, and Wreckfest over the Nightmare Fuel on Wheels.

N64 Killer Instinct & Cruinsin' games were all a scam. None of those games looked like the arcade.
