Thanks, Nick. That's an interesting idea. I'd have a huge list. I used to have a lot of vinyl, but one thing and another it disappeared over the years, I never thought vinyl would come back. Happy Christmas to you.
I really like discovering new groups from the ‘70’s - 80’s. Eloy “Live” I listened to the first song on Spotify. It was very good. It warrants a full listen. Camel, I found out about not too long ago. It has potential. I will listen to also. Nice haul, Happy Holidays ! I came across the group New England on 8 track. It’s a progressive rock from the late 70’s. Self titled, the closest thing to a hit was the song “Don’t Ever Wanna Lose ya”
Hey Pat! Nice pickups! Surprised you never owned any Heep. 'Live Dates' is a top 5 live album for me. Love the Tull box sets, they have set the gold standard. Merry Christmas!
Pat, have you ever mentioned the great band Family, they never seem to get much respect or recognition in the vinyl community? I know Roger Chapman’s singing voice can be a distraction at times. But they were unique in their time, made some amazing albums, which for me haven’t dated! I’ve been trying to get Glen Callaway to at least explore the band for ages and I’am still waiting!
I know John. I have never, in all the years, had anything by them. I've heard a few songs from them but can't remember them. And yes, they have big catalogues and if I like them, I will have to get them. Thanks, John. Happy Christmas to you.
