They're constantly dancing with eachother and eating fish even worse since they have to die over and over again with so much pain since the blood moon keeps coming back and reviving them and they can only afford 3 fish everytime i mean ita not like they go out of theyre way to kill you of you run away they will give up they could easily gang up and destroy a village like hateno with little defense heck theres bokoblins right next to them and only attack when you are in their territory and don't go out of there way to go inside hateno and massacre them

Even just on the surface the combat is a clear advancement from literally EVERY other Zelda game where you just spam the sword button and jump side to side. This guy here is abusing systems, it doesn't mean the combat is deep. He's just breaking the systems. I see where you come from with this assumption, and in a sense you could call that a deep combat system, but it's deep as a result of the game's systems being so open, not because combat itself is particularly well designed (in fact, it's pretty mediocre and broken, thus this video exploiting its brokenness) NieR:Automata, Bayonetta or Devil May Cry have deep combat systems even if the game doesn't require you delve into it in order to get to the end, but BotW, PREY or Dishonored have what I would call an open combat system where you exploit systems to your advantage. Fun fact: the designers of Dishonored didn't think about the "Guard suicide" trick with time stop until a tester tried it during development. They thought it was so cool that someone used the system in that way that they made it a key part of their marketting (the "rat bomb" trick wasn't an idea the designers came up with either, they were amazed when they saw videos of people doing that) It's a difference in design philosophies that I think is important in a conversation about game design :)

Top down Zelda games combat is kind of a joke, and most games up until breath of the Wild haven't had anything more than Z targeting, smashing the sword button, and dodging. At least Breath of the Wild gives you a range of weapons, allows you to play with fire, unlimited bombs, dropping from the sky from your paraglider, or holding a metal box above somebody in a storm to strike them with lightning, etc. That's why the average Zelda fan shouldn't be complaining about Breath of the Wild not being deep enough. If you want deeper combat you need to look elsewhere than Zelda games.
I see a lot of flaws with the combat system, one that stands out the most being how fucked the flurry rush system is. Sometimes you do a clean backflip over the actual blade and it doesn't trigger, while allowing the weapon to clip through links body entirely, you somehow get a flurry rush. You start spamming attack, and link's body is inside of the Lynel he's fighting
So for those wondering about what's going on at 2:11, hyun is using what some people call Daruk's Perfect Parry, while triggering the Enforced Flurry Rush/Daruk Rush. If you watch closely, when he triggers his EFR with a bomb at 2:18, the full Daruk's Protection animation with Daruk's spirit plays. So that shows that he didn't do a Daruk's Perfect Parry, and one charge of Daruk's Protection was consumed. But the next 5 EFR are all done through Daruk's Perfect Parries. You'll see that at 2:22, 2:27, 2:31, 2:36, and 2:40 the full animation doesn't play and you don't see Daruk's spirit appearing. What he's basically doing is only activating Daruk's Protection for one single frame (the frame that has the bomb dealing damage) which triggers the EFR, but it doesn't activate for long enough for a Daruk's Protection charge to be consumed. That allows him to do so many EFR in a row. The EFR at 2:45 plays the full Daruk's Protection animation, which would consume his second Daruk's Protection charge, meaning he probably still has one more charge left. He’s using daruk’s protection to parry it. You have to hold ZL-jump the the side while dropping a bomb-then detonate the bomb mid jump and let go of ZL right when the bomb hits you. It’s not the easiest input to do
I think it's reasonable to believe that pre 100 years link would be able to do things like this. He seems like the type of guy that practices the sword, protects the princess, and nothing else.
I like to think somewhere out there is a level of play that would be closest to what the real Link would’ve done, but im 110% sure that Link can’t do this.

He’s using daruk’s protection to parry it. You have to hold ZL-jump the the side while dropping a bomb-then detonate the bomb mid jump and let go of ZL right when the bomb hits you. It’s not the easiest input to do
