I get why people hunt for food but is it just fun to hunt like bears ? If so what’s the feeling like ? What makes you do it?
Or is it to sell the fur ?

I struggled through skinning bears my first few times, Still remember trying to get those bones out of the feet, getting the nose and trying to skin out the ears.. I was taking the hide to a tannery so I didn't have the luxury of leaving fat on or "letting the taxidermist" deal with it..
It had to be 100% prepped

My experience hunting the North Slope where I had bad weather and an unknown number of days to wait on an aircraft was that "scraping the hide and salting" was the way to go. I also "turned the paws" ....as it was again going to be too many days until I could get to a taxidermist. It would be good if you would go a bit further with this video and show how to do that right.
